I was mentally scarred by his ‘performance’ at Barrow
Amount of clowns on the socials going on like Killip is Peter Schmeichel.

Have they forgotten the amount of points he's cost us this year? Sorry, over the years.

He's told people he's off and that's fine by me. Been here too long, he had one consistent season in the four he's had here.

I'd rather just have someone in net, 7/10 every week, doesn't have to stand out at anything, just be reliable. Ben is anything but that but I do wish him well wherever he heads off next.

Don't worry guys, I'm sure we'll all see you in league two again soon enough! It does look like we have more building blocks in place, at least compared to the Curle era....(hopefully)

Congrats to the shoe people and I look forward to our usual bi-annual borefests next season.

Well done to Carlisle and Bradford for securing your playoff spots & good luck to you both in the playoffs. Even better luck to Stockport as I would very much like to be a division above Project 92 for the first time in half a fucking decade.

Commiserations again to our chums at Dale & Pools. Come back soon! And finally a tiny violin for the Scabs fans in our Twitter timeline today. Maybe win a home game against either 10 drunk blokes or Harrogate next time?

Off to change my bookmark to the League One forum. It’s been emotional. Cockernee aht.

Sounds silly but with history presently between both clubs at each others ground you can argue it is a case of can Bradford beat Carlisle by many more goals at their ground than Carlisle will beat Bradford by in the second leg at their own ground.

Whoever wins their home game by a greater margin will win overall.
This is a very good point, I think we have to try kill the game next week, which for a team that can’t get out of second gear isn’t a very realistic result.

I don’t fancy us at all - not just because it’s Carlisle.

We’ve been dog shit for weeks, now. Our record at home in the play-offs is shite, too.

City Vs Boro 1988 - won 2-1
City Vs Blackpool 1996 - lost 2-0
City Vs Burton 2013 - lost 3-1
City Vs Millwall 2016 - lost 3-1
City Vs Fleetwood 2017 - won 1-0

For us to progress to Wembley we need to go into that second leg with at least 2 goal cushion - it ain’t gonna happen. We sure as fuck ain’t gonna get owt at BP - we haven’t beaten them on their patch since 1985.

We won’t win either leg. We’re not good enough. We’ve picked the worst time of the season to go through this poor spell of form. 2 wins in 11 games is it? And today was absolute dross.

Couldn't care less after the way City have shit on us fans for the Carlisle game. We are a family of 5 and won't be going.

I’m not necessarily condoning their decision, but aren’t those in the MR stand warned when purchasing their season tickets that they might be required to move to accommodate certain away followings?

It’s no different to a cup game - despite it still being a domestic fixture?

The big massive difference now HG is we don’t actually have to win any of the games now to go up, 2 draws, pens, a draw and pens.

we're a family of 5 and want decent seats together. We wont be going and have a cousin in the same position. He travels the country to watch City and his son travels from NZ now and then. Cup games are a directive from above, this isn't. They were happy to take our money for next year, what great PR. We are absolutely furious,

Honestly mate, I don’t get your standpoint. You pay for your seat and the club provides 23 league fixtures - that obligation has been fulfilled.

There’s another 7,000 empty seats to relocate your family to. Granted, it isn’t where you want to sit, but come on. There’s 2,200 ST holders in the MR - looking at the availability, a good 1,000 have moved into F and G and/or the Bradford End already.

Just checking whether or not Loz you’re a 4 year old child, just trying to work out why a grown adult would have such a reaction to one game, in a stand prone to being moved, in a play off not covered by your season ticket? I’m being mean playing devils advocate here I know why you’re upset but they’re are still blocks open on Midland road.

The only seats we can get are in the nadir at the end of the main stand or the rabbit hutch. Yes we have had seats for 23 home games and have had to sit through absolute rubbish for most of them. Sparks is just like the mp who charms you for your vote then shits on you. He says himself he is only at City to improve his CV and then he will be off. The sooner the better for me.

Sorry Loz, I’m not having that.

In the same stand where you want to sit, but presumably 20-40 yards away from where you usually sit.

I'm older than 4 but our group includes a 7 year old who just like the many other children have had their seats taken from them. In my last post, I did say we had tried to get other seats but are unhappy with the ones available so there was no need for the patronising.

Ah well. We were close, don't think we'd have won the play offs this year anyway but it'd have been nice to have a crack.

Roll on next season with hopefully some better luck with injuries and a defence that don't ship a shit load of goals.

Anyone but Salford in the play offs, but then again the thought of aways at FGR and them in the same season again is thoroughly depressing

Stockport County.
Well done Northampton.

Hartlepool keeper great game but we didn't play well. Not confident against Salford unfortunatley, got a bad feeling. I also think if they beat us they will beat Bradford or Carlisle in the final.

Finally caught on sleep after a chaotic week. Its funny you want to be involved in games like that but i hated the entire experience, was fully expecting us to implode at some point. It was just relief more than elation at the final whistle. Am i looking forward to L1? Not particularly, but the players and the manager have done themselves proud over the last 2 seasons so im glad they just got over the line.

All the tranmere fans around were really sound, good folk as usual up there.

Hopefully we can add a little quality and a few good loanees to help us actually stay in L1 for once.

All the best to those in the playoffs, dont envy you what so ever!

Please don’t; I have you pencilled in as one of the four we need to finish below us.

Its definitely a possibility. But we have a very settled squad and a manager whos continuing to improve in Brady. We are in a better position than our last attempts as long as we dont lose Brady in the summer.

Defensively we seem pretty set when everyone is fit. A bit of extra quality in midfield and definitely some more needed up top I think.

Comfortable enough win for the Cobblers in the end. Good luck in L1 next season.
Like most, I’m in the anyone but Salford category for play-off winner.
If you discount the obvious penalty and a possible second one together with one of the weakest refereeing displays I`ve seen all season and that saying something. We stopped counting the number of times he told Northampton players to hurry up at throw ins etc without actually doing something about it. But fair do`s on the day they probably deserved to win. As for the Play Off`s I`m a member of the massed ranks of the ABS brigade.

Yeah, mentioned the ref being poor on an earlier post in this thread.
