Every year the Grimsby fan site open up their predictors to allow boring people like me the chance to predict results for the remainder of the season and therefore come up with a final table. Just a bit of fun, but interesting at the same time.

Also, chances are there will be teams who get very few points for the rest of the season based on my predictions(MK, Swindon and Shrewsbury have felt my wrath this year), and likewise there will be teams who drop very few (Millwall and Sheffield United in my instance) - it's just the way it goes.

Here's the link: http://www.thefishy.co.uk/calc.php

The 95th minute equaliser for Oldham at our gaffe would prove costly in that!

We ain't gonna win 10 out of our last 11 games that is a certainty.

Probably pretty biased as a Rovers fan, but did have us down to lose our last 2 games (Peterborough away and Millwall at home).

Not a chance we'll get another 15 points. We've only won 9 all season and currently in the worst form we've been in all season, we won't win another 5 or even draw that many.

I'd like to think that we will pick up more than 12 points in our last ten games.

Do I not like that.

3 points from 10 games? That ratio for the whole season would mean we'd get about 14 points. I think you must've forgotten to take into account the fact that we have Raphael Rossi Branco in defence.

Probably pretty biased as a Rovers fan, but did have us down to lose our last 2 games (Peterborough away and Millwall at home).

Crikey Shrimper, all of the top 6 wont amass in excess of 80points and if Scunny do manage 78, they'll be in the play offs. Whereas, I'd like to think we will get more than 12 points from the last 10 games, there's no chance we will get 26 out of 30.

Would be surprised if we only averaged a point a game from now til the end of the season. We haven't had an equivalent run of form I. This division for years. Think play-offs are a near-certainty at this stage.

Think you be way off. Sheff Utd and Bolton are certainties for automatic. Bradford via the play offs. Relegated Coventry, Chesterfield both already doomed, Swindon almost gone and the final place goes to Gillingham.

wouldn't give up just yet Joe, squeaky bum time but I think you have enough to stay up. All the talk last year was about your midfield but I think you have missed the central defender the most.

Ok, I'm confident we'll pick up more points than Oldham and Bury in our remaining games. By performances alone we deserve to be in this predicament - even 6 weeks ago we weren't playing quite as poorly as we currently are. However, I think we're still better than enough teams.

We are all down here because we have had poor spells so if someone hits a real shitter of form now then it could be terminal so no one can be counted out.

Exciting but not in a good way! Managed to wangle being allowed by the boss (wifey) to make the half hour trip to Coventry away tonight which saves me stressing over twitter all night. Second away game of the season and if you count the ones last season and the season before I haven't seen us win away in 2 years since.... Coventry away in 2015 (1 goal in those 10-12 games too at 3-0 down at Bolton!) never did i think that when Occy's free kick bent over the Coventry wall into the corner of the net all those moons ago!

I havent given up but dont think we will get enough points, performances are dire, we got lucky with the recent wins, we wont win away from home again this season and have some very tough home games, if we dont get anything vs posh this weekend we will go down
