On the topic of teams actually... that's something I hadn't considered. It'd feel weird being a part of one and having to actually be biased toward one team, instead of just being accused of hating you all.

Rest assured, the first time LR gives me a shit character offer I am going to write a 5 book series on how he has singled out my team and is corrupt as fuck.

I just handed him over the entire character list from 1FF Wars though He officially has the keys to the kingdom. Or wars. Or whatever.

Got to tweak a few things so the characters fit into this game but adding that to the fighters that I've made makes a wide-ranging universe of characters.

About picking teams - I was planning to have a qualifying challenge to filter out those who sign up and then disappear. It's not going to be a Survivor type thing where people get eliminated during the qualifying challenge (well unless they don't take part at all). The qualifying challenge will be individuals being given some money, signing a character and then entering a 1 vs 1 match. The winner will carry their character (plus any change) through to whatever team they end up on in the main game. So for this reason the teams will be random (cue rotten tomatoes being thrown at me

).

Also, the game is designed that every team will have a realistic chance of winning the game after only 5 game weeks. Of course it might go on for a fair bit longer than that who knows, but the game should have a good edge to it and feel like everything is on the line from the start.

Epic - no there won't be any set times to be on. I'm using that fantasy football style draft picking order thing for fight cards that I wouldn't shut up about during 1FF Wars.

They are likely to, but at the same time they might randomly end up on a team with contestants who did get a qualifying win. And each team will start with wad of cash to spend regardless anyway on their first 5 offers.

Would anyone be enthusiastic about another season of 1FF Wars sometime soon? I was thinking about running one. Wouldn’t be nearly as long as the last one, or ran at the same pace (would be a relaxed 2 fight cards per week sort of thing). Or do people think it hasn’t been long enough since the last Wars?
