Our keeper has been ruled out for 10/12 months with an ACL injury. Gutted.

Taylor gave an update re Hiram Boateng and it’s not good news for us. Apparently he’s suffered a reaction to his hip flexor injury and is going to a specialist this week. He probably won’t be back till late Feb at the earliest.

Fortunately we’ve stayed in the promotion race but he really is a big miss for us.

We’re having abit of a nightmare of the injury front at the moment. Macdonald has been out since the end of September and it was revealed last week he’s likely to be another 4/5 weeks yet, Olejnik who was in great form did his ACL in December and is out for 10 months, Craig Davies won’t be back till April at the earliest so likely his season is finished and now Haydn White has a suspected broken ankle.

Elliot Whitehouse started light training yesterday. Looks very much like it's one on one sessions with our physio Dave Moore. Jogging, ball control, etc. going off the pictures. Great to see though.

Touched on it in the Transfer Thread, but Sam Habergham, who hasn't played since April time last season, has had to undergo career saving surgery on some sort of knee bone injury. They've had to micro-fracture and drill holes into it to encourage new bone growth.

He's out of contract in the summer as well, so not ideal for him. Been doing lots of coaching in the youth academy though so it might be that he stays within that if he can't continue to play.

Let’s be honest, he’ll never reached Dave Moore’s level of fitness.

Lincoln fan at work was telling me about this. Had no idea. Sad, because it sounds like he is done. He seemed to be of the opinion that he has just played way too much over a long period of time? If he was out of contract and fit I'd have had him here in a shot as one of 2 LBs for next season.

Yeah, apparently it's generally linked to overuse. He's played 300+ games in 6 seasons, plus England C in the summers and was never injured either.

Hasn't had a proper pre-season in his 3 years here because DC gave him extra time off, sat him out of most of the friendly games and got him up to speed during the first weeks of the season instead.

On more positive injury-related news, Jason Kennedy who hasn't played for us properly since the playoff semi-final against Exeter in 2017 scored for us in the Cumberland cup last night.
