For my part, I fucked it extremely up. Had an 8 point lead in the league and ended up 6 behind Barca, with 79 points.

Also lost 3-2 to PSG on aggregate in the semis of the CL.

I did salvage some points by winning the cup and beating Barcelona in two competitions.

This leaves me with... TWENTY POINTS.

5 points for the cup and 5 points each for two wins over Barca. Isn't that 15 points?

One thing i couldnt figure out was how to view madrids reserves.... Odegaard was placed there and i could not fathom out how to promote him

Sorry about The Odegaard Problem - that was my bad editing. I'd put him in Real's reserves (which don't exist) instead of their B team. Humble apologies and I will do better next time.

Sorry, can't download the game so will just watch.
How can you not download it? It's as simple as following the link Smat put up, clicking the download button on the top right (down arrow with a _ under it), stick it in your documents and then run it from cm0001.exe. Done. You could have a computer older than you and be able to download and run it with ease.

!!!CHALLENGE # 2!!!

Tony Pulis has had an absolute stinker. He's been sacked by West Brom with the club bottom of the Premier League after 23 games with just one win, and ten goals (the lowest in the division), to their name. He has left them eight points adrift of safety, and for reasons best known to him, he has just bought Sammy Ameobi.

Not all is lost for his successor, however. You're still in the FA Cup, and 1FF Manager has £12m to spend to extricate the club from a damaging relegation - but will you splash it all on the inexplicably interested Cesc Fabregas, or use it to pad out the thin squad Pulis has assembled?

The point-scoring is simple:
  • 10 points for surviving
  • 25 points for winning the FA Cup (and a video of me literally taking my hat off to you)

Erm, good luck.

The Great Escape?

TP didn't leave much to work with, did he?

I managed to raise a bit more cash by selling James McClean to Anderlecht for £2.4m and then started to spend... I had to go for quantity over quality to a certain extent and brought in Konstantinos Mitroglu, Connor Wickham, Tomás Hubocan, Bafetimbi Gomis, Jack Hobbs and Daniele Bonera. A few weeks later, the work permit came through for Hulk and my spending was done. I also opted to recall Craig Gardner from his loan at Birmingham.

Sammy Ameobi got me off to a good start with the only goal away to Swansea and then I beat Huddersfield 1-0 in FA Cup after that. I managed to beat Man City 2-1 in the next very game and in only 2 games, we'd tripled WBA's win tally. However, the honeymoon period quickly came to end and it was clear that this would be a struggle.

I was still picking up an occasional win or draw but was still 2nd bottom with 6 games remaining when I played Hull at home.

In the meantime, it was a squad depleted by injuries and suspensions that travelled to Northampton to play Chelsea at stadium mk in the FA Cup Semi Final.

We put up a decent fight, but in truth, it was always fairly comfortable for Chelsea. Back to concentrating on the survival fight...

After a tremendous win away to Leicester, I knew that a win at home to Hull would move us out of the bottom 3 with just 5 games to go. However, anything else would plunge me further in to trouble. Thanks to an early goal from Gareth McAuley, all looked promising. But then disaster struck!

All hope looked lost but then I won 4 out of my last 5 games and stayed up by 8 points. Never in doubt.

You have no idea about dramatic narrative, do you? What happened in those 5 games? Why did we get a close up look at an irrelevant game against Hull

No points.

Also, I ran out time and had to go to work this morning. Would be happy to give in-depth reports of the last 5 games later...
