Bolton still yet to be taken over, now Ken forgot to put 50p in the metre and stop at Tesco for the players’ lunches. Therefore Lostock has been shut for the day.

Horwich Wanderers, spanked on (and off the pitch I hear). They really shouldn’t be throwing coins and attacking innocent GMP considering their financial situation. Hopefully a nice fine is heading their way. Good luck in court anyway!

I did rise to the bait but have changed my mind. All I would say is our lads couldn't find yours, so not sure what result they had, but it weren't with the lot who were looking for it

Forgot to say this and I know all you knobbers will appreciate it. I fucking love Joe Garner! Wins 90% in the air, plays on the edge, runs his bollocks off and gets his share of goals. Hope he’s with us for a long time to come.

He's better than Moult, so I disagree.

Think Moult is the better player to be honest, his goal to minutes record since joining is impressive.

Don't see what Garner would offer us to be honest, if we want a target man then Stockley would win far more than him in the air and Moult's link-up play is better.

Loved him for his time here but he's not good enough for a side that wants top six.

Meh, you're probably right. Would still have him back though, same with Nugent haha

Just looked at those Moult stats.

6 league goals in 1,082 minutes - Just over 12 games.

Shame he's always fucking injured.

Obviously I’m bias but I’d have Garner over Moult. He has seven goals in 1,118 minutes for us. That’s playing on his own in the strikers graveyard that is a Wigan Athletic Championship side. At thirty years old, I’d be more than happy to see him with us for the next couple of years as a squad option. And if we do go down he would hopefully be the one to fire us back out of L1.

One proposed takeover at Bolton is off and they have a WUP tomorrow so it’s possible they could be in admin by the end of the week. Anderson says there are other interested parties they are talking to, if you want to believe him.

As I said before, it won't be administration. To go into administration under the EFL rules, you hav eto prove you can fund the club for 3 months, if Anderson takes us into admin he would have to prove this, which he can't as he doesn't have funds. Likely event is an adjournment for 1 week and then if nothing it would liquidation and we would cease to exist

How much is Anderson selling the club for?

Is that a stumbling block or are the buyers more put off by the monthly losses?

Somewhere in and around £20m.

Think it is more to do with proverbial goal posts being moved by someone, and I would suspect there are conditions regarding the sale that a new owner does not like

So basically both parties (KA and any prospective buyers) are stalling for as long as possible in an attempt to get as much cash as possible in KA case or buy the club for as little as possible in a prospective new owners case. Both parties are winding the clock down waiting for the other to cave in. It’s just a big chess game that in the end will be settled one way or the other with a deal probably in the court waiting room. KA isn’t going to walk away from 20 million quid if that’s the figure on the table especially considering he’s already put money of his own into the club since he’s been in total control (didn’t he pay wages only last week that totalled six figures?). Even if he wanted more or certain conditions in the deal which benefits him in the future, that’s still a vast amount of money and a hell of a lot better than the big fat zero he’ll get if he doesn’t sell. He’s waiting to see if his prospective buyer gives in to his demands and if they don’t, he’ll give in and take the original offer at the last minute even if it means an extra week of waiting for you lot.

Surprisingly I hope it gets sorted, because if you go pop then we’re right back in the shite as the win from last weekend gets struck from the record.

Does the 20 million include the 5 million owed to Eddie Davies?

Given more time till April 3rd, apparently one buyer is willing to pay off all debts I hope that's not taken on Ken's word. Good news for now at least.

Part of it. A mystery bidder appeared at the last minute, someone who hasn't been talking to KA. He had to show proof that the bidder was credible. It is now up to him to complete. Any other scenario he he loses everything

Andy Hughes out for the season it seems now. No news on Browne, Barkhuizen & Potts.

Saw this on Twitter, put it on PNE Online before, that Christmas period really fucked us.

Cricket watch - John Gwynne has taken over the PA announcing at Lancs. One of their better signings in recent years.

It's part of an NDA at the moment, the one thing I do know is the person buying us has serious money available, so there is a glimmer of hope now, let's he it gets completed

Evil Venkys.

The Lancashire side spent 187% of their £9m turnover on wages - which fell by 24% - with owners Venky's injecting £14m to keep the club afloat.

In all, Blackburn's Indian owners are owed £108m in loans, having invested a further £147m in shares since buying the then Premier League club in 2010.

Wonder what their total losses are for the last three years. They must be close to having a points reduction as Birmingham have just got?
