If Maguire wasn't so shit. You'd have won 2 or 3 nil on Saturday. Was at the CCS on Saturday. Much more organised than Cardiff.

Not worried about you going up though. Think you're 3/4 players shy of a promotion team.

Fair point but none of his chances were real clear-cut chances.

My beef with him is, I wish he'd get his head up more when we're on the attack. So many times he has chances to slip a teammate in on goal or pass to someone better placed, but he invariably tries to fashion a shot on goal for himself instead. (Browne was the worst culprit for this though on Saturday)

He's played as an out and out striker most of his career though, and we're currently playing him out on the left.
His instincts are to just head for goal/try and get a shot off, rather than look to set someone else up.

He's a very good player, but equally so frustrating at times.

Anyway, we're 5th and rumours by top ITK posters are "significant" funds have been sanctioned for a January shopping spree...so don't get too content yet cha.

Pathetic sales so far but we'll still have 3k plus I imagine, should have sold out though.

Shit for us but were still going to out sell what Wigan brought here on a lovely August afternoon, for a 12.30 televised kick off in February. Give it up and just support the only club worth watching at the DW, you're not made for this sport.

Disappointing since returning after the break, felt we could have thrown caution to the wind a lot more but you've got to say a team with our budget and 'strike force' shouldn't be in the top 10. Credit to Alex Neil again.

Very interesting summer ahead, could be a real fire sale with a lot of our best players entering their final year, need to make good use of the loan market for a change.
