I was implying that the only team we've faced that have been decent are Wigan.

If you go to the August prediction thread you will see I predicted a draw for our game and also in the premature prediction thread I laughed off the idea that Rotherham would be anywhere near the bottom four. I've never doubted Rotherham's credentials either, I think I had you top half and that was with question marks over your manager.

Wigan are the only team to have caused us real problems (other than Oldham for a spell) and we had no clue how to deal with it.

Don't feed the WUM.

I don't usually to be fair.

I only respond to him when he's posting seriously, I felt like he genuinely took offence to my comment.

Notice how I completely ignored the Lee Frecklington part :cool1:

Gutting not to be able to see out the game after deservedly getting our noses in front.

Ref seemed to be on another planet along with his linesman. Ignoring a penalty in the first half and blowing up because a free kick did not leave the penalty area from the goalkeeper.

Fantastic football from us and Bradford look to be a side pushing for automatics. I fancy us to be the stronger side for the return fixture.
If a player over runs the ball and dives, making sure he hits the legs of a defender on the way down, it isn't a pen. Refs talk to each other and are wary of players who do it on a regular basis. We had a player, Carbone, who could never get a penalty because of this. Hall and Maddison are getting a similar reputation.

You mean like your right winger (no.17) who threw himself down in the 1st half twice.

He's giving a reason as to why a penalty wasn't given, not sure what that has to do with Oxford's penalty appeal.

The implication that Rob Hall is getting a reputation. If we are talking cheating as he was clearly indicating then I was pointing out your no.17.

Also for somebody who is supposedly gaining a reputation as implied, Rob Hall stayed on his feet a lot in those opening 25 minutes when the full was trying to drag him back after getting beaten.

Looks like Sernwa has found his laptop again.

Laptop? haha so 1990's.

I don't want to be posting on this shit show of a forum but I had to comment on how utterly boring Oxford fans are. Especially talking about Rob Hall like it's the second coming.

And the ref wouldn't buy it which goes with my previous comment. He was being fair in his assessments. We are all quick to criticise the refs who being human will make mistakes but perhaps we could have a closer look at the cheats(every team has them) who make their task harder.

You've as much right to post on this as anyone especially after LFs 1st goal yesterday. Hope we don't give him as much time and space though.

There were big wins for Rochdale and Oldham on Tuesday, can they build on that this weekend?

Wigan got a big win in London and will look to gain another 3 points against a Bristol Rovers team that lost to winless Oldham.

Big game at Gigg Lane where Bury and Plymouth are both desperate for a win.

After dominating Bradford and having to settle for a point, I expect us to put things right on Saturday. 3-0 Oxford. Hall with all three.
This is our 5th season back in this division and most of the points we have been able to get have been lucky. Amazing one team can enjoy such fortune.

Hey we weren't the team blaming our goalkeeper for inconceivabley conceding a goal to a team that outperformed us in every measurable way

We were very tidily beaten by Blackpool today. Made Vassell look an absolute world beater but they were better all over the park, first to every ball, kept us under pressure and had a far better plan. Not a good day by any stretch.

We never beat Walsall. The linesman disallowed a perfectly good goal to keep that record going.

Solid point for us yesterday, sounds like we were unlucky to hit the woodwork twice but fortunate with a posh goal that was ruled out, despite it being onside.

Another point closer to our aim of 50.

First half was even, second half we dominated. Hopefully we now won't have to see that clown Lopes in a Posh shirt for a while. I think Walsall have enough to stay up but will probably need to strengthen in January. As usual the ex player scored against us and he had a pretty good game yesterday did Oztumer.

Christ, we’re lucky we have a very good defence. McArdle and Wallace outstanding yet again. Alexander really sets us up for failure sometimes. Far too defensive all game. Lucky we got a set piece goal as we didn’t really threaten after that. If we were playing against a better side we’d have easily got beaten today. Good win but need to improve .
