We were second best all over the pitch tonight to a not very good Northampton side.

Worrying times.

Everything says that sooner or later Shrewsbury will lose and that Fergie will suddenly realise what his best 11/formation is. Being a typical Donny fan though I can't be that optimistic. We probably will have around 60% possession create upward of 10 chances and lose.
Your good 10 out of 10 ...Salops worst performance of the season tonight but 2 quality finishes....

Not sure how we didn't beat MK tonight. Actually, I am, none of our strikers can kick it in the fucking net

Terrible second half. Just seemed to collectively lose our shit. Need to sort midfield out, if Sercombe is going to play Clarke and Lines need to work harder defensively. We were picked apart second half.
Other than that, Pompey is a tremendous away day ( as always) Good night, shame about the result.
We go again, UTG

Forgot to make a prediction, needless to say that game went exactly as I would have predicted anyway so I'll give myself full credit.

Fair play to Fleetwood, deserved it in the end.

We didn't help ourselves though - we pretty much gifted them the first two and then got hit on the break for the third.

Last night showed that without Wyke we can look pretty toothless up front.

First half we were by far the better team but for some inept finishing or not looking when playing the final ball we would have won it after 45 mins. Second Half far more even but as the game opened up and we failed to get the second I just knew we would be undone. We obviously lack concentration, conceding straight after scoring yet again and not tightening up at the death. It may have been your worst performance but I feel that was down to us playing well we just didn't make the most of what we created.

To be honest after half an hour I was getting really worried.. Rovers midfield were dominating and apart some incredible defending we could have been losing. However in our last 2 home games we've soaked up lots of pressure and been very clinical up top. Pitman is way too good for this league. 8 goals in a side that hasn't yet really clicked into gear yet is fantastic. We battered Northampton and lost 3-1 with 3 on target by them, so we are due a reversal. For all of Rovers' play I can't remember a decent shot that made it to our keeper. We could have scored 3 or 4 in the 2nd half which would have been harsh on rovers, but we just have enough quality with crosses to hurt teams. think we've had 8 on target and scored 7 in last 2 home games.

Bizarre tactics, losing at home, players played out of position; it's a repeat of last season. The only saving grace was that it was only 4-1. If i'd have known Lopes and Anderson were in the starting lineup I wouldn't have bothered going.

Embarrassing.

That is a shit tactic to be fair.

Delighted to get three points but I am just going to assume you didn't man-mark Payne (four assists today, so God knows what if you did). Presumably things will be back to normal for the next game.

Genuinely surprised and very happy. Having 11 players rather than 10 players and Gino Van Kessel playing (and a centre half at right back) helps clearly.

We were lucky to beat Rotherham and Plymouth at home. Our two performances were against Bristol Rovers and Northampton and we played them at the right time. What happened today is the normal. Oxford were a poor side and looked low on confidence but I think they have enough to stay up.

Lopes is hopeless; he has no aggression, anticipation and shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch. Anderson has two duff knees and the mobility of an oil rig, why he's been given a new year contract i'll never know. The club should have cut and run, it's a ruthless industry.

McCann hasn't learnt from the mistakes of last year and if this sort of thing continues he won't be here for much longer.

We play Gillingham at home next...

Why don't Wigan fans have the same piss poor reputation on here as Rotherham? Is It because there's not many of them?

There isn’t a lot of pressure from the board on Fergie but the rumblings are growing in the stands, it isn’t make or break yet but a loss today especially from one lapse of concentration as has been at home of late and the atmosphere is likely to turn hostile. We need to change the formation if we are to turn things around but Fergie is nothing but stubborn in trying to make things work. Another close game with a one goal winner, who gets it is anyone’s guess

Fergie sticks with the same formation that’s let us down every home game shocker

Had to happen Southend score against run of play and the scorer should have been sent off 20 mins earlier.

10 men or not walk in the park today, some very good football played as well. We're getting there now I think.
