For what it's worth, I agree that looks like a cracking team for League One level - and you may well give our brittle team a thumping on Saturday. I'm just not convinced about Mowbray. Also, the likelihood of your owners selling vital players from under him in the Jan transfer window may be a worry?
The fans are starting to question Mowbray after the past 2 games, his tactics and line-ups have been strange; we've a lad who's already got 12 or 13 goals for the youth team this season and scored on his debut for the first team in the Checkatrade who isn't getting a look in, and Mowbray has pretty much said "he's not gonna play for a while". As much as I can see that Venky's will start selling players again, we managed to keep hold of everyone decent in the summer and Mowbray seems to have Venky's on side so I don't think we'll be dismantled.

I also think we'll draw tomorrow, we seem to seriously struggle breaking defences down and putting the ball in the net so if your back 4 sit back you have a very real chance of nicking it.

Thought Blackburn were poor at ours considering the team they put out but they ground out a win, I thought they’d kick on after and they had a few of decent results that but then it’s faltered again so now I’m not so sure. Mowbray is shocking in this league and I thought his tactics against us were extremely dull and agricultural considering we were so horrifically bad that day.

Barring maybe Rochdale, I thought that was our best performance of the season that day. We maybe got lucky with a few decisions but in that game we looked like a team that could really kick on in the league. If we're not in serious contention for the title by January Mowbray should go imo.

I guess the issue Blackburn have is even if they get rid of Mowbray then who comes in to work for the Venkys.

This is a large part of why I can't fathom why people are "Mowbray out" already. The managers Venky's have appointed have more often than not turned out to be really, really shit. Lambert left as soon as his contract let him and Mowbray seems to genuinely want to take us up and become a part of out history for the right reasons.

IMO there's been better squads in this league that haven't got 100+ than Blackburn's.

I think Blackburn's squad is a little overrated personally. Some decent players yeah, but nothing exceptional for this level.

We are absolute shit away from home which is gonna be our major downfall this season. I was hoping the win at Rochdale was gonna be a turning point for us and start challenging for a auto spot but it's the same old shite away from home again. We are missing are best 2 midfielders but there's no excuse for conceding another 3 goals again like Tuesday but this is only half time.

Hehe.

Someone hasn't been paying attention then.

The turnaround has been incredible, it's as if we've activated cheat codes or put the difficulty on Easy.

Absolutely outplayed today. Rubbish but just another reminder of the higher level we're now in and that we have to adapt, which I'm sure we will over time. Mid table is all we've got this season.

Ridiculous weather conditions too, the ball barely moved over the grass during the last 15!

Some gaps opening up now in the league, Shrews 10 points clear of 3rd with us 8 points clear. Only 3 teams in the top 9 won today. Fair play to Shrews they keep going, at this rate they will walk the league with 100+ points.

Perkins scoring and I missed it. Seen a picture of the away end and about 10 rows at the bottom of each block empty as they refused to sell them becausethey didn't want more away fans than home. First home defeat of the season for them too, so a great win, especially in awful weather.

Shrews have a habit of late goals but Blackburn and Wigan do seem to be hitting form.

Charlton too - their fans would like a decent season on and off the pitch.

Sorry Oldham guys - jinxed you a bit I think.

We're fucking terrible but thankfully Peterborough were even worse. Alexander's tactics for 70 minutes were shocking and so negative. Simon Church changed the game when he came on, made us far more attacking and won the penalty that won us the game. We're somehow 8th but I can't see us troubling the play-offs this season.

Literally the worst game of football I've ever seen, I can't remember Charlton even having a shot yet we lost
