We are still well in this ,the games ahead are going to provide a lot of twists and turns yet ,tranmeres run in is horrendous ,mk still have e right couple of tasty games as have we its gonna be full of ups and downs ,glad im not a betting man

'Horrendous' is a touch over the top. We're talking about other league two teams, not real madrid. Lincoln are clearly the team on a slightly different level to everyone else, and we've already beaten them with what was probably an inferior team to the one we have now. Besides, they'll be home and dry by the time we play them i'm sure.

Just had to laugh after reading some of the comments on Stagsnet '

'Pretty football and powderpuff strikers just won't get us promoted, sometimes you just need to play it long to a big nasty donkey capable of nutting it in the net. Nice football on the grass is good for the league above but is rarely successful in Division 4.'

According to Spanishstag, he would sooner fail with the Cowleys without them than succeed with them.

It's comedy Gold it really is.
Why do you care?

I was wondering when you would pipe up, you just can't help yourself with Lincoln can you!?

Bless, you aren't bothered or obsessed in anyway though.
What, for asking why you care about what’s said on Stagsnet?

Weirdo.

Also saying ‘bless’ makes you sound just like Adam Stag.

Mansfield aren't out of yet, but Tranmere's run has made it a 3 team race for third now not a two.

It'll be good to have one of our true derbies back next season , though hope the Wobblers suffer for a few more years yet.

Hope Stags & Fake Don's join you , loads of away days under & around 2 hours from P'boro for next season , get rid of Sunderland & Pompey with a bit of luck !

How's Mark O'Hara getting one for you ?
Looked at fault on Sky for Stags goal the other night.
Wished we'd have kept hold of Harry Anderson , looks some player .

O'Hara is doing fine and has settled in well and gives us an option we didn’t have have in midfield, a box to box man.
Get to see a lot of Harry when we're attacking the end of the ground we sit at, been setting a few lately. When we do go up you guys get a healthy promotion bonus.

Think Alanis Morrisette wrote a song about this.
I was asking him why he cares about what is written about Lincoln on Stagsnet, so please can you elaborate what part of that is Ironic?

Thanks.

Just looked it up and we've been top of the league since the fifth game of the season. Ridiculously consistent.

6 years ago today we beat Telford 3 2 in a game that had we lost would have seen us drop into the bottom 4 of the national league and who knows what after that.
A crowd of just 1724 including me saw two late Jamie Taylor goals save our blushes.
Now look at us, I still can't believe the turnaround!
Same mate. I remember just standing there wondering whether I'd still have a club to support the next season. Crazy. Never felt relief like I did when those two goals went in.

Jamie Taylor, a rare jewel amongst the sea of utter shit who pulled on the shirt in our first few Conference years

Is this going to be one of those things where 10,000 people say they attended?

I wouldn't say that. The top 7's results yesterday were 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. The bottom 7's results were 2 draws(one by a last minute equaliser) and 5 defeats. So most of the good teams won whilst most of the poor teams lost. I'd say that's the fixture list proving very relevant.

They'll always be the odd surprise and maybe even the odd week where 2 or 3 teams spring upsets. But I'd say in general, the fixture list holds true most weeks.
Why are you lot always so good in the second half of the season, once there's fuck all to play for? Same last year, and a few had you down for playoffs as a result. I think I'm right in saying you're third in the form table post-23 games. But obviously turd prior to that.

Here's the graph. We've seen off a few challengers this season, just Bury to try and hold off now.

Haha, of course. It was actually my last season as a season ticket holder before I moved to London (in fact, I had already moved south but must have been back for the weekend). I was in the Stacey West stand behind the goal (we closed it shortly after to save money), behind the net as the goals went in. Probably only a couple of hundred of us in there at most, including the bloke who regularly waved his white hanky when we surrendered, as we so often did.

O'Hara seems to have balanced the midfield, or at least compliments all the other options, but I'm not really sure how, which seems a little daft I know. I suppose it's because he offers a bit of everything - box to box, work rate, height in both boxes, steady in possession and has chipped in with a goal and assists.

I'm really surprised you didn't give Anderson more time because, based on his first loan spell here, he clearly had something to work with. But I think McCann tried playing him at RB? Maybe he's not the tricky winger type that your Chairman would prefer? He's very much a pace, power and strength kinda one rather than a silky skills one. Nearly in double figures for the season.

How's Woodyard found L1? Fergie Jnr tried to sign him for Doncaster a couple of years ago.

The white hanky got some airing down the years - he was a hard man to please! I think he passed away not long before the Cowleys arrived?

He did a year or two before.
Yeah the Stacey West was shut apart from large away followings for most games for a couple of seasons, then away fans only in 2015/16 and first half of the following season until the crowds went crazy and home fans have been quite regularly since January 2017, Dover being the first time.

Why are folk looking on stagsnet in the first place. Get out there!

As for being compared, I’m sure it’s a compliment

Many saddos and quite a few weirdos spend far too long looking at other teams messageboards, some even spend hours of their time posting on them. Notts County Mad being a prime example with regular visitors from other clubs.

To then bring that information back here onto this beautiful league wide forum is bizarre. Who cares? Loads of idiots on all the main unofficial messageboards of L2 clubs posting absolute trash in the safety of their own.

I have no idea why but whatever floats your boat as they say. I can think of better things to do. Netflix for one

Woodyard in most people's eyes has been a big disappointment.

Our club captain but not man enough for the role , he's weak & let's other teams & ref's bully him.

Does the nitty gritty stuff that doesn't linger in the memory for long , but he needs 3 touches on the ball before making a pass ( which will be sideways & not forward ) .

Evans played him top of a diamond away at Accrington where we won 4-0 & he was brilliant that day .

Fergie keeps dropping him ( he has a team of Evans players ) physical athletes & not footballers so he's giving everybody game time to see who to keep & who to get rid of.

I think Woodyard will be get rid of , not captain material & league 2 probably his standard .
