If they were Hell bent on killing the club then I don't think they would have spent around £500k on transfer fees this season. Bury are alright. It's like having an elderly neighbour who goes on about things that happened years before (FA Cup wins, Colin Bell, Craig Madden) but is really a decent old boy. Quite happy for them to do well, as long as its not as well as us, or at our expense.

My concern for them is the level of debt they seem to be accruing. I hope their "chur" is a financial genius, rather than an idiot or a conman, but the jury's still out on that one.

In other words, I'd piss my sides if they lost 5-0 to Barnoldswick in the cup, but would be unhappy to see them go bust...

Gutted he's leaving. Great handling and anticipation. Kicking and communication sometimes a bit poor. However he's still only 25 and can only improve in time. Personally I think he will be able to make the step up and eventually play for Wales

I don't know why you are somehow trying to act as if we aren't a rival, as recently as about 12 years we were and always had been Boltons main rival, I don't really have much feeling for Bolton either considering I'm too young to have attended a Bury v Bolton match. But the history of the fixture is there.

Heard some great stories about him, including when he super glued his wheel trims on to stop people nicking them (it is Medway after all) and then had to call out the AA when he got a puncture.

I won't be surprised if it's all ticket and made a midday KO at GL tbh. It's could range from 1800 - to just over 3,000 depends which side of the ground we give for these big games.
