I wasn't saying we were crap while we were on our good run you tit, because overall we weren't crap. I still didn't ever think we were good enough to win the league like you thought, but definitely not crap.

I may have said the odd time that the odd performance was crap despite getting the result (Exeter at home springs to mind) but that's not being pessimistic, that's just stating the obvious (for people not living on cloud cuckoo).

I'm placing us here now. I had faint hopes of a play off spot but tonight's defeat leaves us five points adrift with seven to play. Yes mathematically we are still well in with a shout but we'd have to win five or more of those seven which just isn't going to happen.

I was at Orient away and we played quite well. One of our very few decent performances of this year. No chance we'd beat them now. We were on the decline then and we've just got worse and worse ever since. To beat teams you have to actually create goal scoring chances. We wouldn't score against a pub team at the moment.

I don't think you realise how shit we actually are. You have to see it to believe it. If we go into next season with this group of players we will be staring down the barrel of non league football a year from now. This team is wank.

Even back in those tragic days there was always at least one team worse than us. I genuinely don't think there is a worse team in the football league than us right now and if we don't get stuff right this summer I fear that league position will reflect this next season.

I think you'll be ok in the long term.
Carlisle are one of the bigger clubs at this level and with a fair amount of potential but like Plymouth,your remoteness is perhaps both your biggest advantage and DISadvantage at the same time.
