Can't recall a game where Evans hasn't been spoken to by the ref yet. Was he getting a telling off after our first goal?

Well you know how he is*, but I didn't see anything from the Habbin after your first goal. But he most definitely had something to say about that penalty incident. Like I said, I think he was right though as Legge doesn't get anything on the ball IMO.

*btw, unlike several other footy fans, I don't believe his behaviour influences the match officials in any way shape or form.

He certainly seems to attract the attention from the refs, but more often than not he's shouting at his own players. His drive to win and succeed and something different to what I've seen from any other Mansfield manager for some time!.

I think that was a really big win in the context of the season. The playoffs now become within 3 points and 5th is only 6 points clear of us. Whereas I believe next season will be a good one for us, maybe the playoffs would be too much this season - but with the run were on?....

Either way, it's just nice to be even able to mention it, and to be in the top half. Winning at Cambridge isn't an easy thing to do.

Evans and Raynor never give the fourth official a moments peace. I'd imagine that hearts sink when they get the information through that they'll get the fourth official job for a side managed by that pair.

They undoubtedly divide opinion. Everybody at Mansfield hated the way that they harangued officials, when they were in the opposition dug out; however, now I find them rather entertaining. Nobody can accuse them of not kicking every ball, or living every minute of the ninety. Though, of course, if you're the opposition, they'll wind you up no end. Ultimate result is that they win more football games than they lose.

Paul Raynor celebrating the third goal on the touchline like he'd scored it in front of the fans that loved him. What a wanker.

You'd love them if they were in your dugout though. It's a shame I'm not going to the Checkatrade tomorrow night. Evans and Raynor in the opposite dugout to Gareth Ainsworth. You'd struggle for a bigger 3 c*** in this league. Feel for the fourth official.
