I think it's great to see leicester still up there and i hope they keep up their good form. Only two points in it between City in 1st and Arsenal in 4th and i hope it remains that close in the coming weeks.

Shame about Everton though, they were apparently going to be 'moving up into top 4 position in December'. So that gives them 5 games to make up the 6 points they currently sit behind 4th. It's possible I guess, if all the teams they're looking up at have a shit December and they win all their games. :hypo:

We had a bet on something which I genuinely can't remember. What was it?

As soon as Vardy's goalscoring spree comes to an end, so will Leicester's top 4 hopes.

Though I hope he continues and they keep up the fight, it's great to see how far they've come since being promoted.

I think a Mahrez hat trick every game instead will be ok.

I had to do the triple-double take, the sextuple take if you like.

Leicester's top 4 credentials will be under the microscope in the next 6 games, with big matches against Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Spurs all being played. Oh, and games against Bournemouth and Everton too.

Well December certainly, we took the points in the game that looked most likely, we'll be happy with anything from the other games really. That's not to say straight defeats wouldn't be disappointing, but it'd hardly be unexpected, as it would be for a lot of teams with those fixtures.
The bookies have us at 4/1 to finish top 4, but the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are all odds on. Spurs outside of those and Chelsea finally drop below us in the odds table.
Who'd have thunk it when we appointed Claudio int' Summer!

Leicester are going for the title and Watford are fighting for a champions league spot, meanwhile Chelsea are in a relegation battle. What an interesting season so far:fl:

The standard of the football may be shocking but it is a lot of fun this season as there is coupon buster happening every week. Games the top sides think they should win - and would have in the past - they aren't, the middle teams a lot closer than the big boys for many a year; Leicester top and Villa and Newcastle to be relegated. Good stuff! :D

I wonder if this trend will continue with the new TV deal from next year?

I don't think I'll ever understand the logic that because the usual suspects aren't running away with it, the quality of football is worse.

The fact there's increasing strength and class through the middle of the table suggests it's higher. If one team creaming everyone made the best football, the French league would be the best in the world.

Maybe that explains Villa and Newcastle's approaches if nothing else.

Good post and if football were like that in the 70's and 80'S maybe Saltire and Pagnell would support there hometown clubs instead of Liverpool:fish:

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
