The missus made a pile of mini sausage rolls this morning. I had a plateful of them covered in tomato sauce....luvly jubbly.

Tomorrow morning I shall have more with beans for brekkers.

Cadbury's use yank cocoa now and is hence all rubbish. The bars are also half the size they used to be and yet are charged more for them. Fuck 'em now, fuck 'em all to hell.

Roasted butter squash and lime soup. Amazing with fresh granary bread for tea.

I went for one of those create-your-own pizzas from Tesco today.

Thin base, tomato sauce and four toppings - spicy chicken, pork meatballs, jalapenos and mushrooms.

I'm going for the budget version of Salty's dinner, Cumberland sausages with mash and beans.

I was at Markies today, gotta treat yourself now and again. :D
We go in occasionally and they do have some tasty grub....they do a mean fish pie. Got a great dinner couple of weeks ago thanks to their £10 meal deal for two....a chicken for mains (really tender and tasty and boy do I love tearing off the roasted skin and eating that before dinner is plated), couple of sides (I had the stuffed mushrooms) and a sweet......and a bottle of wine which has been put away and will be used as part of a crimbo pressie.

Like Salty & Steven I also had sausage last night....stewed linkers with onion and a rich gravy with mashers and peas.

Aye their grub is great though I actually prefer Tesco's finest fish pie to them. My only gripe about Markies is the regularity they change things about. They did superb crepes a few years back with ham, cheese and cranberry yet they got rid of it within 6 months. They like to change the recipe on stuff as well and I prefer the older rosties they did to the chunkier ones they do now.

Oddly I was going to do this, but then I decided it's too warm for a roast dinner and I'm shoving the chicken in the freezer.
