Considering our efforts on Thursday I thought it was a tremendous performance, tho it has to be said, against a very average opponent, and from where I was most certainly Millers goal, but as I have been arguing all season different player down the middle as opposed to being used as a winger, and it was funny to see how many different ways they tried to stop him including one huge bear hug.
Suspended for Tuesday it will now be totally fascinating to see how we get on against Woking, and as interesting who CK plays and where, and if we can grab the points without him. I am not as convinced as Le Whites about the prowess of our other forwards though for once I hope he is right and I am wrong, but whatever happens, next Saturday Miller has to go back into the middle as he single handedly kept the Guisely back four busy, something Lafayette simply can't do. I follow him on twitter and he actually said "PLaying down the middle again instead of chasing back after full backs is better than sex!" Don't know what his missus will think of that, but he makes a really valid point and observation
Moses I thought had a cracking game, my MOM actually which begs the question why the manager doesn't give him more game time.
But today had banana skin written all over it, so to get three points when so many must have been knackered, have a brilliant crowd to open our new stand with and consolidate our play off credentials was just wonderful.
Roll on Tuesday

Woodyard's goal today meant that, at the time of him scoring, all 10 outfield players had scored for us this season.

I *think* the only outfield players yet to score are McCombe and Whitehouse, who have both made maybe 3 or 4 appearances and Taylor Miles (played 7 minutes for us this season before breaking his ankle).

Yeah he was decent today. Must have spent the offseason in the gym I think, looked massive but has a great engine.

You guys were lucky, but how many times can we fail to beat top 6 teams.

I'm still confused, upset, shocked. We should of won but we gave it to Lincoln. Fucking awful last 10.
At least you didn't lose 4-2 to a Curzon side without a home win all season and who finished the match with EIGHT men. All this in a week when our manager responds to a defensive crisis by signing another Furby midfielder!

It was never Millers goal it was deflected off Emmanuel. Happy for Miller to claim it, it was a decent strike and probably would've gone in anyway but its not his haha.

The Guiseley back 4 were disgraceful as was the referee. We can consider ourselves lucky that Miller a) didn't get sent off for reacting to the crap decisions and tackles and b) didn't get injured.

Magri deserves a tremendous amount of credit for his 4th game in about a week. Never seen him have a bad game in a Dover shirt

Fantastic result up at York. We get knocked down but we get up yet again.

Have to keep going now starting with Maidstone away Tuesday.

Might need to bring an abacus to keep track of the score I think.

Lincoln and Tranmere will struggle to score against us let alone beat us twice. If they nick a draw they'll be over the moon..

Is it appropriate to remind people of this wonderful bit of foresight here?

Lincoln were over the moon to nick the equaliser, just look at their cele. They just happened to nick another one as well.

We'll smash Tranny Tuesday. #bouncebackability

Great day for us. First away league win, clean sheet and out of the bottom four. Maidstone missed a load of chances before Fabio Saraiva scored with our first shot on target, might have even been our first shot. Then Gozie Ugwu scores with our second.

We controlled the second half and got the vital third goal.

Maidstone - Dominated the first 25 minutes and had it not been for ENGLAND C's NUMBER ONE Brandon Hall they could have been out of sight. Had some useful players - Bobby-Joe Taylor, Jamar Loza and Bradley Hudson-Odoi. No idea why, when you're struggling to win games, that Odubade is on the bench.

Should be mentioned that, for any visiting fans, now that one of the ends behind the goal can't be used, you can't ACTUALLY SEE the pitch. Unless you go behind the other goal where all the Maidstone fans are. No terracing or roof anywhere else apart from the main stand. BE WARNED.

Just like you did last season huh. Are you talking about in footballing terms or like you smashed us at Prenton Park by kicking us off the pitch?

We're currently playing our reserves so that's not a problem.

Classic mod bias. Not one mention of Woking climbing out of the bottom four.

Saraiva scoring was the most inevitable goal of the day, seriously.

We're sorry about the current lack of facilities for away fans, it'll only be for a few months. The Dover game should be a laugh mind you.

It looks like fgr might be turning into the greame hicks of the national league smashing the minnows all round the park but once they play the big boys it seems to be a different game

Lincoln should know better than to celebrate a last minute winner, away from home, against the league leaders.

Think we still have a lot improving to do, especially at the back can't expecting to score 3 times every game to get something.

It doesn't matter though because you already won the league last week didn't you? :dk:

That doesn't sound like the sort of thing ChrisFGR would say, are you sure?

I had forgotten Saraiva played for your lot. He's in good form at the moment, scored a hat-trick in midweek in the Surrey Senior Cup. He should have got another one in the second half.

You do need to quickly sort out the arrangement for away fans, especially for when you host a club EVEN BIGGER than Woking. Other than that, was impressed with the bar, food etc. The people walking around waiting to take your litter off you was a bit weird, though.

To be fair to them though that is what Barnet did 2 years ago and managed to win the title because of it, it may still be enough for FGR.

Lose to Tranmere and that healthy lead has all but evaporated, and that wouldn't be the sort of record you'd want to take into the play-offs or it would be the game against you lot all over again. Do feel there's a lot more to come from this set of players and Cooper is capable of getting it out of them.
