No Wrexham fan can defend Wilkin now. He has to go.

Nobody will, we've had the patience of saints putting up with this all season and keeping supportive as best we can. I can think of a couple of other teams in this league who have fans that would have bust a blood vessel long ago.

Wow, where to start? When my mates from Wrexham asked me if I wanted to go, I didn't expect that game. Especially given how the first 75 mins had gone, looked like it was just going to drift away.

How Wrexham lost that is beyond me, it was tough standing there and knowing what to say to my mates really. No words.

Louis Moult's goal was excellent but for me the number 11 (St Juste?) was the standout player today. I thought he was superb.

Wilkin has to go for that, it's embarrassing frankly. Winning today would have glossed over what's been a shite season for them. But defeat just leaves him with no excuses.
St Juste declined the opportunity of playing for St Kitts and Nevis in a World Cup qualifier in favour of this.

It should not be considered a good thing, personal bias apart, to see a team that spends WAY beyond its means achieving success. I hope Wrexham come back.
I agree and I LOVE Wrexham but not as much as I dislike MasterBater. :ds:

RP will be worth a read tonight...
congrats to NFU.
Well that's depressing. Seeing a supporter of a recently liquidated club congratulating a club that spunks money it doesn't have. Think I might just give it all up. :ffs:

Honestly I wasn't even enjoying that when we were 2-0 up and by the end I'd had enough, Wilkin and majority of the squad have to leave. Game started turning when Keates went off they got more of the ball and we defended like scarecrows, Got what we deserved, a medal with LOSER on it. Only Wrexham player with any credit left after that is Moult! Even Manny Smith was awful! but i'll take the positive which is maybe Wilkin will get the sack now

Decent match, i went with several Hull City/FC/Rovers supporting mates and Ferriby produced one hell of a performance. Ferriby's left Winger Jason st Juste deserved his man of the match award.

Celebrations were a bit confused as we'd lost count of penalties taken, least it wasn't as bad as Scunthorpe - Worcester!

Interesting reaction on here. I spent last season frequenting the Conference North section of the non league forum, and Ferriby were universally disliked there. No tears were shed when they were beaten in the playoffs - not least by me, as I think they would have beaten Altrincham in the final. Bankrolled village pub team and all that, plus they were (maybe still are?) a bunch of whining, diving, hoofing, niggling, digging, ref-botherers.

It's not even really the act of losing to North Ferriby, but to be 2-0 up with 75 gone and throw it away isn't good against any team.

They have previous for that this season.......

I know. Thing is they are not in the Conference yet denying proper teams their place in the FL so nobody cares.....yet. Nobody cared about Fleetwood until they suddenly arrived in the Conference. Their player Clarke was an annoying twat all game yesterday and there was some reckless late challenges that they were not even booked for in the first half. They had that useless lump up top who we were dealing with pretty easily, it was when they actually got the ball down and ran at us that they looked dangerous. If he's scored 18 goals this season then it says a lot about the quality of the Conference North.

Or Jenning's knows he isn't going to be there next season/made his mind up (unless he's signed a new deal and I've missed it).

To be fair to Jennings, he was poor, but he's been one of our better players this season. Carrington on for him to help out Tomassen against St Juste would probably have won us the game.

Bit of a dafty is Connah Jennings. Managers looking at signing him in the summer might think twice when they see him coming out with stuff like this. His performance yesterday won't have helped either.

Wow, that's pretty damning.

There's been rumours of dressing room unrest all season long, it's a matter of time before it is all going to come out. All sorts of stories have been talked about, who knows if they are true. The facts are they just haven't had him since day 1.

Jennings has not been offered a deal to our knowledge, he's got nothing to lose. I've said many times I can take him or leave him, he's not performed well enough overall. He'd still have a host of suitors down here though I imagine.

Is Nathan Jarman the striker you're talking about? He seemed to score a penalty every week last season, much like John Akinde.

According to the Guiseley fans, one of Ferriby's players broke the jaw of their star winger in the playoff semi, ruling him out of the final.

Jennings cost us having to play catch up for me too. Hurst spent so long chasing him in the summer that it cost us getting a striker in for the start of the season imo.

He's not even that good, didn't really impress with his loan spell, depending on which Wrexham fan you ask he's either good enough or average, he certainly hasn't pulled any trees up especially with scoring goals. Living off his loan spell with Macc, much like Hannah has done with us.

It does seem strange how much off the boil he's gone since leaving us, yet I have that funny feeling that I think he would soon find his feet again if he returned to the Moss, not that it will happen! I wonder how much that serious calf injury did actually take out of him in the end?

It's impossible for Wilkin to keep his job after the Jennings interview. To be undermined so blatantly in the press.....he's obviously lost the dressing room.

Not going to join the long list of Ferriby lovers because of one Wembley triumph....they're a bunch of thugs more often than not.

Superb that.

I've had BT internet for a few years now and still can't work out how to watch live games on there. Looks like it was the best final in recent memory and I know Furby aren't exactly the good guys, but it's nice to see a place like that win a major trophy at Wembley.
Have you got BT Sport? If you have that then you can watch it on TV, online and on your phone.

I think Jennings should be looking at himself, not moaning about substitutions. It was only 15 minutes. They only needed to keep it going for that long. He's one of the big failures of this season. He's supposed to be a key striker, but he's been so poor that he's now a makeshift winger. Not scoring with an open goal and missing one of the penalties was just typical of his season.

Yes, a very unclassy move, saying what he did. These things have a tendency to return to haunt you IMO

Ferriby brought the whole village down and they still couldn't make it round to the W of Wembley.

We'll take less than 5000 if we make the final next year. Everyone's a bit bored of of the place now.
