Our game with Fleetwood now re-arranged for Tues 31st October, 7.45pm kick off. A side effect of that is that us and them have to wait an extra week for our first "Lancashire League One League" game of the season. Oldham with a poor start.

Blackpool away called off due to international call-ups, re-arranged for Tuesday 28th November. Curiously, the bottom 3 have played more than the top 4, with Rovers still having played only 1 all-Lancashire tie. Wigan still clear at the top.

When it looked like we were gonna be crap again for this season, I was properly gutted. Especially so for this season, because of all the derbies.

It's fair to say we look a different side these past few weeks, and I feel invigorated for a fun 6 or 7 months of good football with a feisty element. Especially Blackburn away at Ewood after doing them at home. Bring it on!

Give it a couple of years, and you might acquire Dover or Maidstone as competitors. Unless you apply 6th century Aethelbertian Bretwalda rules, in which case you've already got Pompey, and maybe Bristol Gas and Oxford.
