one of these times Notts have to take advantage of the space Miller is getting on the left.

oh and Chesterfield have now gone up tje other end and scored.

Too easy for sir Danny this. He’s thinking look at these mugs, they’re not on my level

Poor marking from Doyle there

he doesn't look like a particularly deep thinker.

See he’s fooled you as well, he lulls the week minded into a false sense of security then bang. Goal. His football brain is beyond these lot. You can see that instantly

Stockport County.
That Clarke is good for Chesterfield to be fair.

Notts remind me of us. Listening to their fans on here all season they've been like brothers from another mother.

Good side but just lacking something. Nous, killer instinct, ruthlessness. It's something in that ball park. I feel the same about us.

I hope Notts turn it around second half. I won't be able to watch from here so good luck to both teams

A rugby coach I think. Chesterfield style of play suggests so. Very direct. Notts County look much the better side.
We're away from home, first half, all home crowd, how do you want us to play? Other than a few sloppy mistakes like what led to their goal this is a pretty good away performance so far

interesting first half. County the better side overall but Chesterfield look far more dangerous in the final third.

Could go either way in the second half.

2 good goals for us and 1 bad one conceded we should be going in 2 up! Lots more to come in this game though. Need to give Carline some more protection against that left winger and Gunning needs to calm down and we got this. We look ok when we just get our feet on the ball and move it around, front 3 a danger. Nervy times

Two errors from us, two goals. Don’t think the goals are done yet! Wouldn’t be surprised to see a tactical tweak or two from us.

Soft as fuck at the back and toothless up front. I think we’d have been better off playing this away.

That's odd, you think your goals were good ones but the one you concede is a bad one. Hmmm, never heard anyone claim THAT before.....:pond:
It was a shocker to concede all round

All three goals were shockers defensively (or our keeper’s prawn cracker wrists for the first). To be honest, most goals at this level are.

I mentioned Jack Clarke on here as our young POTY in my opinion, and you can see why after that first half performance from him. We need to snap him up ASAP after his release from villa.

Other than Gunning sloppy error that led to notts goal we’ve contained them well and looked threatening on the break throughout.

Expect Notts to come flying out the blocks again second half as they should do with that home crowd roaring them on. Next goal huge, if we get it that should deflate the crowd and hopefully see us through... Notts get it and I can only see this game going one way

Keep going blues!

And there you go. Striker on for CB. Burchnall certainly not afraid to change things early if it’s not working. Rawlinson looked all at sea at times today.

No sub keeper on the bench for Chesterfield? That's pretty stupid. This could get messy.

Our fans are obviously having a crack, but he’s proper injured. Really close to him and he can’t put any weight on that leg.

I can see why the teams with a paper thin squad go without a sub keeper, but there is no excuse for Chesterfield doing so

Put Sir Danny in net. The lad can do it all. Win you the game at both ends of the pitch
