You know what? I'm really getting the feeling that Ambrose is going to beat Rollins at EC this Sunday.

I think the main thing making me think that way is that it just seems like the sort of thing WWE would do... they want to push up network subscriptions, so how about in their first ever network exclusive PPV, they have a title change? It's a great way to make people who aren't subscribed to the network feel like they're missing out if they don't get it, and you can just fucking imagine Lawler sat there now giving the whole "man, I'm glad I got to see it because it was amazing, but some people had to miss out!" bullshit.

I fully expect Seth to take the title back at Money in the Bank, resulting in a shitty 2 week title reign for Ambrose in his first ever run with it (which would suck, but again, totally feels like something WWE would do... perhaps to test the waters a bit and see how people respond to him as champion...?)

Totally know what you mean. They'll definitely do something but a Divas title switch is more likely!

I just have a feeling Roman heel turn or accidentally costing Ambrose the title which starts a feud between the 2.This could set up a Shield Triple threat title before Brock returns at Battleground.

Hm, I see that WWE.com are saying that Rusev has injured his leg... wonder if he'll miss out on EC. At least it could mean some kind of cool replacement...

To reiterate the thoughts of others: HOLY SHIT.
Never in my wildest dreams did I see that one coming.

I mean... Owens winning seemed unlikely. But if it were to happen, I'd always just assumed there'd be some kind of cheating or whatever involved. But to do it clean? Holy shit. What a statement. The only people I can think of in the last few years who have beaten Cena clean are Lesnar at Summerslam last year, Bryan the year before, CM Punk at MitB (though even there Cena only lost through trying to stop people cheating on his behalf), The Rock at Wrestlemania and Orton in Hell in a Cell back in 2009. It's like once a year, if that. To have Owens do that in his first ever match... wow. God damn you WWE. They screw up a lot, but when they get something right, my god is it awesome. Owens instantly looks like the real deal.

Bit if a shame that the rematch is in just 2 weeks... Owens should have had a long time to bask in this victory, perhaps until Summerslam. I mean, even if Cena wins at MitB, it won't take away the fact that Owens did that last night... but it'd have been good to have a bit of separation between the matches.

Still though. HOLY SHIT. Watched it last night and I'm still not over it.

On that note, what the hell are WWE playing at giving us these PPVs every two weeks? After Money in the Bank there will have been 3 PPVs in 6 weeks. Have they been doing this long or is it just a quirk of recent scheduling?

EC was just a one off trying to sell the network to people I guess

Tag Team Chamber match - Very good I thought, didn't like Ascension looking strong and the Kalisto spot was terrible considering he spent so long climbing around like that just to land on them. New Day are terrific though, as are Tyson/Kidd. Good opener.

Divas - Meh.

Owens/Cena - So they actually went there huh? Owens was magnificent. Fair play to Cena too, although can the c*** learn to sell a powerbomb properly please rather than landing on his elbows and making the move look shit.

Neville/Dallas - Christ, whatever. Neville's really good, stick him in with someone he can have good, fast-paced matches with please.

IC Chamber - Snorefest. Seriously, absolute fucking shite from start to finish.

Ambrose/Rollins - Solid match with Rollins starring. Ambrose is getting a little one-dimensional and boring now and I'm sure they could've thought of a better ending than that. Authority turning on Rollins with Owens as the new muscle, Reigns turning heel...anything.

KEVIN F'N OWENS

The guy is awesome, I didnt realise how good, his moveset for his size is incredible, potentially the star of the company. Disappointed there is a rematch in 2 weeks, doesnt make sense, surely Owens would just say fuck off to a rematch, go back to NXT and dominate for a while bragging while Cena looks more vulnerable before a big time rematch in the future maybe at WM. Maybe Owens can go over again leading to Cena losing the title perhaps to Neville as the young NXT guys show Cena up.

Not thrilled with the MITB line up, pretty obvious Reigns is winning, would have liked Ambrose and Wyatt in there as they would be other potential winners, Kofi clearly only in there for a few spots with Neville.

Enjoyed the tag chamber and Ambrose/Rollins was good, interesting ending but could have been done better I think, maybe ref knocked out again, Authority beat down Ambrose, out comes Reigns to make the save, referee wakes up sees Reigns interfering and DQ's Ambrose. Therefore Reigns has accidentally cost Ambrose, builds up a little tension and Authority gets one over again.

Oh, that ending of the Rollins/Ambrose match was probably the biggest gripe I had with the show actually. A ref gets pulled by Seth into Ambrose... and when he recovers, he REWARDS Seth for it by making damned sure that it goes down as a DQ, rather than him getting pinned. Nice going, dumbass.

The ending to that World title match was straight out of the 1980's. Totally unnecessary.

Steen though. What a talent.

Even Paige is looking sloppy

But Owens, fuck yeah. I was half thinking a Joe run in was gonna happen, but glad it ended clean

Wow. Fantastic match between Owens and Cena. Stunning ending. So disappointed they're doing the rematch so soon though just to get JEEEERN his win back. No need.

Crowd was absolutely awful throughout. Divas match was dreadful. The chamber matches weren't anything special, but glad the BIG GUY got a break. Title match was a good match, unsurprising ending.

I honestly believe the problem in the diva's match was Naomi. She's not safe at all, she botches like hell and you can see the apprehension in the other diva's when they go in for moves.

Even her simple moves are dangerous too, Paige went limp a few times to sell and I honestly thought she was dead at one stage.

Owens is on the way to being a made man. Unfortunately the pattern with Cena and young wrestlers is Cena loses the first match, then goes on to beat them over and over again

That's true, but they very rarely win clean.

Obviously he's not going to get a clean win next time, but let's hope he gets away with a DQ loss or a screwy win.

WM 32. BOOK IT

Rollins vs Reigns vs Ambrose - WWE title
Lesnar vs Owens
Cena vs Samoa Joe
Undertaker vs Sting - double retirement
Bryan vs Zayn
HHH vs (hmm Balor, Wyatt or something, maybe even Rock)

Thats not even mentioning the plethora of other options, Orton, Ziggler, the NXT divas etc

I think the temptation is for the big money matches, possibly Austin, Lesnar, Rock etc but I think it needs to be when the younger guys get the spotlight with the big names but tapered in with the Taker/Sting match

Wait, where's Orton? He beat Cena in a hell in a cell after a punt in the head. Unless the punt counts as being "too extreme" or unsportsmanlike or whatever so it doesn't count?

Wow though. Until The Rock like 3 years ago there we only 3? Insane.

Edit: Actually, I just remembered that Orton beat Cena in a table match too, reversing an AA into an RKO. Also, Sheamus beat him clean in a table match too.

Edit edit: Oh... PINNED Cena. Got ya. But still, Orton did.
