We were battered tbf. Started well but never got back into it after. Jansson and Green kept us in it. Ok the penalty was a fair complaint but Rafa can't complain about the added time. I thought five was about right all in all but even still, we scored less than 4 mins in when you factor in the intruder.

Lucky for sure but huge...Possibly more for belief and spirit than numerically.

Jansson is a beast. Least deserving point I've seen all season but him and Green kept Leeds in it. We should have had a penalty but whatever, our own fault for not putting the chances away.
that's the title gone for you but at least you've bounced back straight away. Be good to get Brighton, Newcastle and probably Leeds out of the league for us next season.

No complaints about the 5 mins, second half was niggly and there were plenty of stoppages. Definitely a complaint about Lascelles positioning for the goal and Mitro not taking your lad out when he went past him. You defended well and kept going til the end, so fair play. Good luck in the playoffs if/when you make it.

Meh, not looking forward to playing in the PL again. Only thing it has over this division is the officials being slightly less shit at their job.

Was gonna say, can be complaints about the potential penalty and allowing the league's top scorer his own postcode in your box but the time is stretching it. Cheers - I think we'll need a lot of defibrillators fitted if we get there!

He needs to splash the cash. A few more decent additions should see you ok.

I don't miss the Premier League at all, the novelty factor wore off for me after about the fourth year. Much prefer the Championship.

Unless you're playing in the top half of the Prem, then this league is far more exciting. And I doubt many of us will enjoy many seasons of top half Prem football in the near future..

haha was in Marbella for the past week, funniest night was last night, good drinks with some Geordie lads taking piss all night with me and my mates, (friendly) us agreeing we were completely outplayed then the last minute goal and smash and grab, this is the best league season I've seen from us in years, we are suspect away but our best home form (2017) in the league has made us dangerous

play-offs are a total lottery

they thought Jansson was the best CB in the league too , Chris Wood proving his value yet again

Our job done this weekend, almost there. Rotherham (H) on Monday, we should be winning this.

After a few weeks of all the contenders dropping points, after this weekend we could still be on for a record points total required to make the top 6.

Massive win for Reading, I'd say that's their playoff spot secured with Rotherham at home to come and Fulham still to play Sheff Wed.

Ditto. League One as well, facilities are better at Shrewsbury than they are at Old Trafford. Says it all really.

Fair fucking play to Reading, yet again just as everyone is expecting them to slide they pull that out of the bag. Think you'll pip us to 3rd too with that run in.

It's that time of the season where every result has huge implications. We could be more or less secure tomorrow with a 6 point lead over Fulham with 3 to play or we could be out of the top six...

You naturally think Fulham have it to do with their fixtures but they're more than capable of beating those teams, however difficult on paper. We should pick up enough from our games but I'd hate to go down to Burton in a pressure cooker environment.

Add in we're either gonna be missing Jansson for the run-in (hopefully) or the play-offs and it's all a bit nervy.

Why you going to be missing Jansson?

The cut off for bookings has now passed

Bet Monk will stick to his principles and not orchestrate a booking tomorrow and we'll be fucked. Don't care if we're not safe in the top six...we certainly aren't winning the play-offs without him.

Annoying as a lot of his bookings have been silly...celebrations, kicking the ball away etc. Extra annoying as we needed a CB in January and didn't bother.

We are a centre back short to be honest, we just have to keep grinding out results, tomorrow at QPR will be tough just need Villa to fucking turn up.

Them two late goals Saturday were a bollocks kick to our hopes of overhauling you and Town.

Really hope we're above you and Fulham on the last day, guaranteeing our position. I cannot cope with it going right down to the wire.

Image you being 3 behind us both and we played out a draw.

Reading made Villa look as bad as they were earlier in the season.
I hope Hudds drop further points because Newcastle are playing Russian Roulette too often with atrocious unforced errors in defence (mainly by Lascelles) and not putting away even a POOR percentage of the chances we get. None of the back up strikers have got close to Gayle's record
So I'm nervous as hell. We are cracking at the wrong time, Brighton deserve the title, we need to start winning again.
NOT DRAWS.
As we've claimed all season we have NOT been treated fairly by referees. You'll always get some games going against you and some where WE get the breaks. That balance hasn't happened this season. From game ONE at Fulham. We're in with a chance DESPITE non-stop bad decisions AGAINST us

stats show you are just as good without Gayle as you are with him in the team.

I know you're on the windup but that is fucking awful

I reckon every club in the league gets fucked over by refs against Newcastle. At Molineux, your player Mitrovic who scored the winner should have been sent off 10 mins before the goal. Swings and roundabouts. I'm guessing you don't watch your team eh?
