That's right, Fuck off Forest and Derby.

Getting in early as I've only started one match Fred this season and we actually won that game.

This one has 7-0 written all over it.

No idea what's going to happen. Mansfield are terrible at home so far, we are good away.

Last year we had no fight, and this year Sheridan has gone for #character and we love a bit of a scrap

Still expect Manny T to kick seven bells of shit out of us though, a sending off is quite likely

If Green scores Mansfield win. Simple formula that hasn't happened much this year.

Notts are going to take us to the cleaners. Murray to play a 7-2-1 formation.

Could do with O'Connor being fit. I love Stan but his use is going to come in home games against the 'smaller' teams, not this.

I think we might just edge a close game, depends as ever on whether Stead/Forte turn up and get a couple of chances between them.

Does Bish like Stead yet?

Stead was rubbish last season tbf, but it appears that was just because three managers couldn't work out how to actually use him properly.

If you do play defensively it would suit us, we have enough skill to pick teams off , we're at our weakest against pace and movement . Orient tried to bomb us and we looked quite comfortable for the most part, Grimsby when they attacked us with pace rattled us.
Head says we're due to drop points away but I'm not feeling unduly negative , I'd take a point if it was offered though.

Not confident at all, think he will go back to starting Green for this though.

I love Stan - he's genuinely one of the best footballers we've had but I have to agree that we are a more solid team when O'Connor plays. Solid is basically a word you can use for us this year. I don't think we've actually really played a team off the park, we've just been bloody hard to beat

Solid, but not in the way you'd normally expect of a solid team. Still just that one clean sheet at Exeter, but scoring goals pretty reliably even when we don't play well.

Could be a pretty big game for Murray, this. Notts are surprisingly above us and have started well.

If he loses, I think the pressure from the stands might stand to increase a few notches. The home form and shows this season have been pathetic.

Time to grow some balls, stop playing with 2 defensive midfielders and play to our strengths.

The thought process at home is bizarre. Let's go for a more adventurous line-up.

FYI if any Mansfield fan is bored of fans having what is seemingly a "pop" at Adam, then hopefully this will change when we do any of the following - win, score at home, play entertaining football - of which we do none.

Anyway, 3-0 Mansfield.

Unfortunately can't see anything but sweet revenge for last season. 3-0 County. One pen, one red card, one shit game (for us anyway). At least there may be an atmos for a change.

Not be a pretty one if your prediction is correct

At least they'll make a killing in the Patey, That's if they let people in this time.

Tickets have sold really slowly for this, particularly to season ticket holders, despite us being quite good. Reckon the old boys are giving it a miss after last year's 'disgraceful scenes' and the dickhead army will have grown.

What exactly went on there, odd that an odd few caused such a problem now we've got to play again so early. Seems overly OTT by all parties concerned. But that's SAG for you

Notts smashed up the toilets and let off some pyros. Probably called out a few old mansfield gents outside the ground too.

I wasn't there but it was made out like it was the Somme, which it clearly wasn't. Smashing up toilets and pyros aren't big, hard or clever and all, but it wasn't huge.

They're supposedly enforcing people sitting in designated seats, which just wont work. It will just result in people standing

We must be the only club in the country who try to make fans sit in the allocated seat. Mansfield fans, Is it just me or are you getting really annoyed by the treatment we seem to receive from Notts Police?

They've tweeted yesterday saying no pubs will be open before 12pm on Saturday. Have they even got the power to tell pubs when to open and close? I ask because last week they shut 3 of the 4 pubs near Crewe because someone let off a smokebomb inside one pre match. They left the most expensive one open for us but she said she took about £750 in the hour we all stayed after it had finished. Like pubs will turn that down.

They should just come in the home ends, they'll only be about 3,000 spare haha.

Notts police are absolutely hopeless, it's a real eye opener having lived in Manchester for 13 years now, how easy going their police are makes Notts like amateur.

Notts aren't even a rival, we don't consider each other rivals - we're the crap town up the A60, and they're the once good club that bleats on about being good 90 years ago, but that's as far as it goes.

I'll be in the railway as per, it'll be open from 8

Pumped for this, got it off work. Anyone from notts getting the 10.55 (i think) train up? What's it like with drinking on these trains as well?

I can see notts doing this, so we'll probably lose but the type of players we have in this season look like they won't bottle it as much, and Murray appears to be under a bit of pressure from fans, which could mean more pressure on the players.

Notts smashed up the toilets and let off some pyros.

There was a bit more than that with people surging towards the pitch and chucking stuff after their second goal. Can see how that would've been scary for our legions of old blokes. Bit dodgy behind the stand before the game and at half time en all, beer bottles flying all over the place.

Overall, though, it was definitely blown out of proportion and not helped by some poor policing/stewarding.

I can see either side of the reserved seating thing. Personally I'd prefer unreserved because it's annoying trying to get tickets with all of the people I like to sit with, particularly for a game like this where there's different levels of priority. Can equally see why a family would want their seats guaranteed together, though. Sensible thing would probably be to split the stand and let you have a choice, but they never seem to think things through.

It definitely created problems last year - the 40/50 who kicked off clearly didn't have tickets together so just stood on the stairs/where they could find space in that front bit of the stand, but people who didn't want any part of it were stuck there because stewards wouldn't let them move.

Yeah I'll be on that one, gives two hours to have a few down the Waterfront after opening time! They were fine with drinking on them last year, gets absolutely rammed by like Bulwell/Hucknall though.

It's clearly a rivalry and half decent derby game, maybe not the most intense in the country or either clubs' main one, but I dunno why you're so determined that it's just another game.

It's not "just any other game" but I think Notts police seem to make it sound like world war 3, when its a local derby but played with an in general good haired atmosphere. I certainly don't do it out of disrespect but Notts just don't get me all pumped up like if it were donny of Chesterfield.

I also think you'll dick us

They're an absolute joke. Many of you County fans coming on the train? I'd get off at Woodhouse and get a taxi into town. If you're in colours or in a group they'll round you up at the station and march you too the ground like they did the Grimsby lot. Alternatively if there is a group of 5/6 of you, Book taxis into town.

One day it's going to kick off at Field Mill purely out of frustration with these jobsworths, If you ever though our stewards were shit you should deal with Notts Police.

This was about 9am before our game with Grimsby, Who by the way for a large following were the best behaved fans I've seen at Field Mill.
