Have you still got the Jumbotron?
The Big screen? It was only a rental I think! They had it again for the Play Off semi final...

That said I managed to get a ticket for the final game at your place... shaking hands and congratulating each other on the pitch at the end with your fans etc whilst one media outlet tried to paint that we were all battering each other!

Our problem is that our form both in the second half of last season and for the whole of this season has been consistently dire, that’s 9 wins from our last 52 league games now. That sort of downward momentum is hard to stop, 3 different managers and something like 45 different players have so far failed to get us back into some sort of decent form over what’s now the last 13 months.

There will probably be another rebuild in the summer, hopefully Big Dunc stays and has more of an input into our signings, and tbh I’d be happy with consolidation in League 2 next season. There is a real danger we could carry on crashing off the rails the way we’ve been doing things recently.

You’ll be fine in terms of any struggle in L2. Generally the majority of those that come from L1 and struggle in the league below are basket case clubs like we were under Smurthwaite or Chesterfield who dropped straight through iirc. So long as Vince doesn’t totally lose the plot would imagine FGR will be ok.

3 points on Saturday should give FGR a leg up. We hardly ever do well there apart from the play off game in the conference. Same as Accrington who we also gifted 3 points to.
Will be a cold enough to hear my balls clanging together if last season is anything to go by.

You make a dangerous assumption...that Vince ever had the plot!

This season has exposed brutally that football is not his priority...most fans seemed to have cottoned on to that fairly early on, even those who might be rated as dense or blinkered are starting to understand...not sure what will happen next season back in League One.

We've had a debate on our forum about offering Plymouth two stands (both ends) for the last game to make some wonga if they can get promoted on the final day, which would give them about 6-7000 (we wont because its not workable) but I think back to last season and having 600-1200 allocations in most cases so giving them 3900 is decent in the first place!

Our fans camping the night for Exeter tickets and missing out!

Just on that the only way it would work (and good luck getting agreement on this) would be to give Plymouth the whole of the Railway and then we have both ends and the LS. As it happens I think it’ll be redundant and their promotion will be confirmed well before the final game. Vale probably do need to plan this now though as if Plymouth fans try to celebrate on the pitch it will kick off both inside and probably outside the stadium and after Swindon last season we don’t need that.

Cant see that happening!

Plus if anything on it surely it will be on TV.

Ideally we'd have the Lorne Street done and give them the new half... if we were smart and knew something was on it they could literally pay for it to be about finished in ticket sales!

Sort of goes without saying really. The table doesn’t lie. Bigger worry is this much shit becomes ingrained if you don’t clean it up properly, and I’m not sure we will.

That is my concern...we haven't finished this season and I'm already worried about the next one.
