We're definitely in this following last nights debacle. Quite impressive really considering we were level with 6th and 3 points off 3rd going into Christmas.

Sat in the ground last night thinking back to our relegation in 2011, in similar circumstance we'd fallen down the table and were playing Fulham at home in a game that could put significant daylight between us and the relegation places. We totally rolled over and lost 2-0, that was the day I knew we were relegated. Last night was eerily similar, total fucking gash, I know the stats say we had 3 shots on target, I 100% guarantee the keeper never had his gloves warmed all evening.

Worrying times.
The last day could be fun then Trev! We'll all be weeping together in a pre league 1 shitfest (if anyone bothers to go).

You'll be fine because all you need is one win to get to 46 points which you will find from somewhere. We certainly won't get to 46 points and I don't think Bristol City will either. As bad as you might be, there are two worse teams and we are one of them.

Edited for you. So actually Birmingham need 2 wins or a win and a draw if their goal difference is half decent.

No way will you lose to us, seriously. We may well go ahead but will fuck it up due to our tactical genius changing things and you'll score. I swear he's hell bent on getting us relegated as some, if not all of his decisions cause major cock ups, every single time.
Tammy's back though so, no doubt, the pig headed little prick will pay him at right back or something equally fucked up.

Just the two wins needed for us? Unfortunately we've only won two in the last 15 games since Zola took over so I wouldn't be overly confident, especially looking at our fixtures. Add to that our goal difference is second only to Rotherham in shitness and you really cant discount us.

I'm not panicking just yet, as you's have said there are teams here who are competing with us to try and get the shittest run going, but it'd only take Wolves/Wigan to put a few results together and we'd be panic stations.

For me, Wigan and Rotherham look gone. Bristol have been terrible, but could easily put a run together with the players they have, so wouldn't discount them. Thought Blackburn would go down, and think they still might but they've pulled out a couple of decent results of late.

Got a feeling 1 of us or Bristol City will stay up, probably them as we won't score today and that will give them the least a point.

Blackburn are the worst team I've seen this season and God knows how they're out the bottom three. They were somehow worse than us last weekend although scraped a 1-0, riding their luck lately and have 4 or the next 5 away and all difficult fixtures.

After todays game I've changed my mind both teams look like they've given up, horrific match of football.

Starting to worry now that we're gonna get dragged into this. Was 11 points clear two weeks ago, now only 6 (or 5 with the goal difference). Difficult run of fixtures ahead.

As much as I wish this were true, I genuinely think you could fail to pick up another win all season, and you'd still survive, such is the shitness of the teams below you.

Results will come....

I'm joking. You'll be fine. You'll get a few points here and there between the end of the season, we probably won't get to what you're on now.

The only 'winnable' games we've got left now are Burton at home and Rotherham away. Was banking on beating Wigan the other night and still lost. Could be interesting when we play each other on the last day :animatedf:

Burton at home is a much tougher game than us away on the final day.

I like how we haven't been mentioned. We were awful today and didn't deserve to win at all. If we played anyone else in the league we would have lost by 3 or 4 today. Really not convinced we have what it takes to stay up. It's scary to think how much money (£27m in 6 months) we have wasted and are still in a relegation battle.

Couple of pupils I used to teach went and FB'd me to say we were as dreadful as I had said we were, made a comment last week about how Lambert's record was very close to being level with Saunders, although with 19 played now (to Saunders 20) PL now has 6 wins to Saunders 5 so at very worse will be one win better off.

Our run in looks brutal, realistically on current evidence I wouldn't back us to get more than 9 points from it.

As a Sunderland fan who is obviously going to have to travel to these ground next season Im pretty happy with results tonight! Bristol City on a tuesday night would not be my idea of fun!

Shame about Wigan though, absolutely love going there.

Horrible night for Bristol City. Not great for Burton either, they've done really well recently but can't quite escape just yet, Brentford for them on Saturday is a massive game.

Entertaining relegation battle this.

Haven't seen Burton or Forest mentioned that much but they're in definite trouble.

Birmingham's run-in is also pretty horrendous, every chance they could drop.
