That’s me being really optimistic. Not confident at all about a lot of these points, particularly winning at Walsall now they’ve appointed Flynn, but I have to predict a win somewhere!

11 more points, putting us on 39 points. Highly unlikely to be enough.

Exeter (A) - oddly we've not lost to Exeter since we got back in the EFL D (1-1)
Harrogate (H) - our Bogey team L (0-1)
Bristol R (A) - Barton should have been sacked after the home game - hopefully he will after this one D (0-0)
Walsall (H) - Holloway will be back from suspension W (2-1)
Rochdale (A) - 2 inconsistent teams D (4-4)
Scunthorpe (A) - need to win - will win (2-0)
Carlisle (R) (H) - might depend on how long before the match Carlisle have sacked their manager.... D (1-1)
Leyton Orient (A) - L (0-1) own goal in 95th min.
Port Vale (H) prob lose to these again L (0-2)
Crawley (A) bore draw. D (0-0)
Forest Green (H) FGR already promoted - so shock win (they rest players) W (1-0)
Salford (A) we always lose there L (0-2)
Sutton (H) Richie Bennett will score after 94 mins to make it D (2-2)
Swindon (A) W 2-0 to guarantee we stay up and Swindon stay down.
Northampton (H) already safe - so L (0-4)

If I predict L for all our remaining games I'll get most of them right.

has HG hacked your account....

It's probably not that pessimistic to predict we'll lose more than we'll win or draw. We still have three relegation six-pointers we will probably struggle in and the last few games look horrible as well given that all those clubs will probably be trying to secure promotion/play-offs.

Tranmere (a) - I was pessimistic about this one as we have a poor record against these but their form and expect us to be pumped for DC, probably a 0-0 though between two defensively strong sides - D
Rochdale (a) - Probably a draw here - D
Stevenage (h) - Finally beat them at home in a league game - W
Harrogate (a) - Seem to do well against these - W
Colchester (a) - Tougher game than the reverse but good record recently and a tight win - W
Crawley (h) - Great record against these - W
Mansfield (h) - Always put in a bad performance against these - L
Bradford (a) - Good recent record, usually tight D
Exeter (h) - Used to always lose to these, now seem to always win… go 50-50 here - D
Sutton (h) - tough battle - D
Barrow (a) - tight win to get back on track - W
Salford (a) - Hate losing to these but probably batter them in a 1-0 loss like usual. L
Oldham (h) - No let off like the reverse this time - W
Hartlepool (a) - Tough place to go, jittery 1-0 loss to get us nervous for the run in. L
Bristol Rovers (h) - Tight win W
Walsall (a) - They draw the second leg of their cup final D
Newport (h) - Huge win to secure the play off spot W
Exeter (a) - Usual Vale last day performance thinking of the play offs, play a few kids and be half arsed ala Walsall, Swindon, Cambridge in past years 0-5 L

And we pip FGR to the title.
In fairness to Devon Lad he has been consistent in claiming Exeter will win title, even before FGR's recent wobble.
And he must be credited that, so far, his match predictions are fairly accurate: - 8 games with 6 correct forecasts.
View attachment 16977
But with six games left till end of season, Exeter are 4 points adrift of FGR with a minus 14 GD deficit to the Gloucestershire team.
The question is will the season end before Exeter can fulfil Devon Lad's ambitious forecast?

Update on thread.
Of the 8 brave predictas, most are about half correct.
Always difficult to forecast one's own team 'cos the heart interferes/influences logic.

Never got the appeal or purpose of predicting things so far in advance.

wohld swindon be doing better if mckirdy was still fit for instance? oates went off injured for us on saturday, if he’s out for the season he’d be a massive loss for us etc.

If things like that happen game in game out how the hell am i supposed to know what’s going to happen at salford in a month or so time?

Perhaps you should take squad depths into your predictions then. It's only fun and games. I'd have had them all correct if Nombe wasn't injured but alas he was so we've dropped a few more than expected.

These predictions were made when Keith Millen was our manager. We fired him a week later. I actually think I was being a little over optimistic, I don’t even think we’d have got 11 more points had he stayed in charge.

points wise i wasn't too far off - I said we would have 15 extra points with 2 games to go - and we actually got 13.... but i did manage to predict that we would beat FGR

Some would be happy if your predictions continue to be correct.
Remember your personal pride as a leading pundit is at stake. :ohy:
I suppose I could continue to be correct and we can still pip you to the title. 1 point could be enough.
