We are well into preseason now. Come August we will be ready for our normal Christmas slump.

• Have no chance of making the playoffs
• Are in no danger of relegation
• Out of the FA Trophy
• Out of the FA Cup

Based on the above criteria our season is over (and before Christmas for the 3rd season in a row). Anyone else a member of this club yet?

I still dont think we'll make the playoffs but its nice to still have something to play for in April unlike the last 2 seasons

5 teams can officially confirm their place in this thread tomorrow. Here is what each needs to be mathematically certain of being a National League side next season:

Wrexham -
Win against Bromley, Woking or Torquay fail to win
OR
Draw against Bromley, Torquay and one of Woking and York lose
OR

Eastleigh -
Win against Lincoln, 2 of Woking, Torquay and York fail to win

Boreham Wood -
Win against North Ferriby, Torquay lose, Woking or York fail to win

Chester -
Win against York, Torquay lose

Bromley -
Win against Wrexham, Torquay lose, Woking or York fail to win

I expanded my working out of the points permutations to include all teams below us, and it turns out Bromley and Boreham are now officially SAFE, and Wrexham's goal difference adds them to that group in all but name. Worst case scenario 54 goes down on GD, 55 stays up.
