Very true, meant really in terms of fan-club relations but I suppose that's not what they're judged on. There are much worse owners I could have used as an example, but you get my point

Its an interesting one, if they hadn't try to change the name of the club (no small thing I know) it would still be one big love fest in Hull. One stupid move to market the club poisoned the mood in one go.

The name change is one of many things the owners have done to turn the fans against them. They have not been 'mostly excellent', more 'mostly destructive'. They rank highly amongst the worst owners we've ever had.

Mike Phelan offered the Hull job permanently, fully deserved in my opinion. Seems to be getting the best out of what he has at this early stage.

They took over a club that had already been in the top tier, and admitted they weren't football fans. So they took over based on ego and/or the lure of premier league money. They always just had the pretense of being behind the history of the club and the local support.

They said Hull City would have become extinct, which is crap. Hull will always be big enough to have a professional football team, whatever it's called, whether it would have been the same club (which has been in administration in the past and recovered anyway) or a phoenix club.

We shouldn't have been relegated last time, but they put way too much trust in Steve Bruce. Probably because with how they act few want to work for them, as we saw this Summer when they tried and failed to attact managers.

Every penny they put into the club has had interest charged on it, it is all loaned. They refused to spend anything on players this Summer and only did in the end because it seemed there would be a takeover. Otherwise they would just have pocketed all the Sky money.
