Rotherham for me. Misplaced arrogance and the fact that they won't be up to much. Plus it's a local game. Won't be drinking in Rotherham though. It is a cesspit

Wigan. Nothing to do with the club itself but the acrimonious Paul Cook transition makes this inevitable. For us it's for "we're just fine without you, so there" reasons (this is the printable version).

Blackburn or Wigan, expect them to have the best two squads.

To be honest I was struggling to think of any team I dislike enough to put them above any others. Don't have a dislike for Northampton, most of my family live there and I've been to see them as a neutral many times. Don't wish them any negativity really, but Edinburgh is a prize cock - If beating them means that he gets the boot, then yeah, Northampton.

Other than that, Oldham at Boundary Park. We have such a depressing record there.

Apologies for my ignorance but we've been in league 2 for a few years, what's the story with Edinburgh after he left Newport I thought he was doing ok at Gillingham for a bit then I lost interest?

He lost interest too. Built a whole team of central midfielders and players who used to be good, forgot about defenders and tried to play everyone out of position in a 5-3-2. Then when things went wrong told that fans that we were 'just Gillingham, and should be happy with where we were.'

Fitness was terrible too with training sessions only 3 times a week. He refused to shake our manager's hand when we played on the last day of the season and he's currently taking us to an employment tribunal for him being sacked. He's an utter ball bag and things will go tits up at Northampton sooner rather than later.

Things were going swimmingly up until January 2016, then injuries to key players and loss of form saw us go from top of the table to not even making the playoffs.

Last season we signed what we thought was a quality side, Konchesky, JET, O'Hara etc, but after a reasonable start form went completely and it became apparent a good number of the squad gave not a single fuck. Style of football was abject, players were woefully unfit which could be explained by only training three days a week. Edinburgh binned most of the long serving backroom staff and started bleating publicly about us overachieving when we apparently had the biggest playing budget in our history.

Essentially, due to illness our chairman took his eye off the ball, he said the other night he would have binned Edinburgh sooner had he been well enough to do so.

But apart from all that... *thumbsup*

Scunny because it's local
Plymouth because their managers a bell end
Oh and Charlton for robbing us of 3 points when it pissed it down and they couldn't be arsed to try and clear the water at half time ( not that I'm bitter obviously :dis:)

There is no one particular team I want to beat, though bragging rights over whoever is top at any point would be nice.

However, I predict that every time Rotherham lose this forum will be interesting.

We have a postcode derby but Scunny's rivalry is with Grimsby/Lincoln although it's always a healthy atmosphere at our games. As for Rotherham we just don't like one another especially when at one point in the 80's the idea to merge the two clubs was discussed.

Northampton - Local Rivals
MK - Want them to fade into oblivion.
Rotherham - The arrogance and delusions they have of themselves
Wigan - Last time we played there they sang: "You're only here cos it's Wigan."

On a personal level, Plymouth as it is my local (!) game, Rotherham because of a certain poster, and Franchise, for any reason you like.

Okay, if you're sure it's for any reason I like then.....I think you want to beat us because you're jealous of our wonderful 'UEFA Elite standard' stadium and the fact we sell the best pies in the league.

What a terrible song that is, I hope you reported it to the FA.
