Funny one this. In recent times, Murray has spent so much energy to get level at 1-1 and then Djokovic has stepped up a gear. In going 2 sets down, the sets were noticably quicker than in recent encounters and he's had a bit more in the tank to push on as Djokovic's level dips. I'm not saying Murray wanted to go 2 sets down but at least the sets he lost were fairly standard sets rather than body punishing ones.

I'm not sure who that break favours. You'd say Djokovic perhaps due to momentum and the way Murray and the crowd were pumped up. But then perhaps Murray has just proven to himself that he can hang with Djokovic deeper in a 5 set match and this might give him the belief needed.

I'll go Djokovic to wrap it up in 4 though. I think him serving first will prove to be the key.

Djokovic looking very assured. Think he's got this in 4.

Murray restarted better than I thought though.

Wow. Did not expect that. Hope he's got enough in him for the 5th set. Either way here, he's proved to himself he can do this and hang with Djokovic when he's mentally on it.

Not a Murray fan at all - but not particularly fond of Djokovic as well, so it's of no concern to me who wins this game.

Should be good.

Djokovic has served first in every set. Small things.

Looks like Djokovic will gain the early break in the decider though.

A gift wrapped break. Annoying.

He's getting his ass handed to him on a plate here.

One more chance at a break or it's game over.

He isn't. He certainly was for the first 2 sets, Djokovic was bossing him but Murray has come back magnificently to be fair to him. I thought it was well over after the second set.

Fair play Djokovic. I don't feel Murray could have done much more. I'm sure he'll get the same usual criticism but this is more down to Djokovic's superhuman level rather than anything else.

Admittedly he did well in the 3rd and 4th set, but this 5th set the difference in class has been for all to see.

Djokovic has massively stepped it up and has had Murray running all over the park.

Now it is over. Murray has accomplished another goal this year though, he's proved he can stick with a prime Novak over 5 on clay.

Goes into Wimbledon as an equal favourite with Djokovic on the back of this I reckon.

Such a shame tennis is like this. They fight so hard to level (or even just to get back into the game) and then they get marmalised in the very next set. I understand it and it's not really the fault of the players but it's so frustrating.

Great match though. Should have been the final.

No shame in losing to Djokovic in 5 on clay. I feel like Murray is slowly getting back to his peak level.

Looked like it was going to be a routine win for Serena but Safarova has just come back from 4-1 down to force a deciding set.
