I'm watching Thiem-Goffin instead. Fun match, and I'm genuinely excited to see a new face in a GS SF.

Certainly 2 players to look out for in the future - particularly on clay.

1st Mark's French 2016 1341
2nd Wilson's Wonders 1315
3rd Baker's Ballers 1306
4th The Living Geckos 1207
5th Such a deuce 939

Could go either way between the top 3.

Mark has Murray, Wawrinka, Thiem, Williams and Muguruza.
Mike (Baker) has the same but with Djokovic instead of Wawrinka.
I have Djokovic, Murray, Muguruza and Bertens.

Really, I need 3 of my 4 to get through to the finals to have much of a chance. Mike needs Djokovic to beat Thiem to have any chance. Mark's looking solid and will be pretty much there if Wawrinka beats Murray.

Mixed feelings about today then!

Good pick with Bertens btw - is she a bit of a one slam wonder or at 24 maybe one for the future?

I'd noticed her form was amazing coming in but nearly didn't pick her as I saw she had Kerber first round. Went with it because I didn't have a cheap alternative really. I'm not sure she's one for the future. Can see her being a solid player in slams but nothing special at the top end.

Marion Bartoli is the most annoying commentator in the world.

Thanks fellas, you've just saved me from muting it. Bartoli's high pitched tone of amazement after every point is beyond irritating. Evert already sounds better.

Serena was in her usual hole early on but looks like she had pulled herself out of it yet again. Bertens' calf injury is clearly affecting her.

It seems Andy has saved his best tennis for the latter stages, he's been imperious against Stan!

Djokovic wins in 3 and Murray wins in 4.

So can Murray repeat his recent wins or will Novak complete the Grand Slam?

Quite possibly.

Murray was superb today, didn't give Stan much to play with forcing him to try and hit through him and today he couldn't do it. Andy's shotmaking was just top class as well.

Let's hope he can play like that in the final; if he can, he'll cause Djokovic problems.

I think he's got half a shot against Djokovic. Djokovic has the pressure of this being the only major he doesn't have. Murray knows he can beat him now. I think it'll be a close match either way. There is a part of me that thinks this could be Murray's major actually. He's well overdue another.

He's got to win the first set, never beaten him after losing the first. It does feel a little bit different this time due to Murray's form on clay and Djokovic has lost 3 finals here so that might play on his mind a bit and give Murray a slight advantage. But I fear we will be saying the usual thing after the match where the Serb is just too tough and relentless over 5 sets.

Actually always quite liked Cantona (apart from that penalty on his comeback after that kick and the FA Cup goal!). Hope he's giving Andy some tips on how to beat Djokovic!! :D

Serena loses her 2nd final of the year..

In straight sets too.

Muguruza.is going to be a real champion of the future (well she is already is I guess!)

Battle of the top 2 now. I can't overtake Mike in 2nd as we both have Djokovic and Murray left. Mark in first only has Murray though so will Djokovic score more than 21 points to give Mike a win? If Murray wins or Djokovic does it in straight sets, then Mark could hang on.
