Our media team (well, one work experience kid) proudly announcing that we’ve sold 5,000 tickets for the home leg against Crawley is pretty tinpot.

In fairness, that’s just a day of general sale, and it’ll be (baring a catastrophe first leg) about double that come next Thursday, but going all in on reaching 5,000 is embarrassing.

Though it now looks like we’ve sold the most out of the teams in the play offs? Incredible how tinpot this entire league is, really. Ourselves included in that.

I can't see us playing them for a long long time , massive budget cuts this summer and rumours of them going to a hybrid model . That Swann and then Dodgy Dave bloke really has fu*ked their club and as funny it is to see them struggling so badly it leaves us without a real realistic rival to play anytime soon unless we get a magic promotion somehow .

27 years and counting since we played our rival in a meaningful game.

It's shit in a way, and explains why so many of our younger fanbase latched onto the FGR rivalry.

Yeah I did chip in when it looked like the club might go as quite a few others our end did .

It might be a laugh when your rival is doing badly but no one (or at least very few) wants to see the club not exist ; 8k for that play-off game shows you have enough people that care . It will be interesting to see how Andy Butler does as the manager .

We’ve played them loads over the years. I’m guessing I’m older than Bottega so he probably sees Hull as a derby but that only lasted a couple of seasons.

Donny - Scunny has always been a nasty game.

Really bad and now thunderstorms coming. I'm the other side of town so I haven't bothered to see the pitch but my garden is a quagmire.

I dont knowvwhy we didn't put covers on as it was forecast...there's always a chance we got rid of them...they've never helped us get a game on.

The covers not being on is the main question we have. The rain has been forecast for ages, unexpected amount aside for arguably the biggest game in your league history, that and a lack of an official announcement of any form of pitch inspection for the 2 hours between the ref being aware of an issue and the announcement just reeks of incompetence.

The ref literally said that he was called in at 9:15 Casey, the game was called off at 11:15. That’s 2 hours.

It's not Crawley's fault that there's a month's worth of rain fell in the space of 2 hours. Most clubs at this level or league one would be off with that amount of rain fall. If anybody needs chucking out the football league it should be mk Dons they are the ones that stole another clubs place in the football league and all there history.

Don't care about Hull or Donny particularly, Hull we've rarely played in my lifetime. We played Donny a lot but they're a Yorkshire club who are nothing more than just close to us
