Just a song we sing
Ahh I didn't know that, I thought that it probably just meant League 2 but put Football League by accident.
Sounds like we are getting a lesson in finishing, you taking yours us missing ours?

Big gulf in class here. Marquis has shown why he's the best striker in the league by some margin. We've been pretty good going forward in all fairness but our defending today can't be put into words. We have an experimental lineup out today but I don't think we need another look at some players out there today. I liked Gunning after his debut but today he's shown he is nowhere near this level.

Donny are a great, great side. Fair play. Still think Portsmouth were better against us, both side fully deserve promotion.

Mckeown can fuck off. It's not entirely his fault but he's been in goal for the 5-0, 4-0 and today. Henderson showed what we should be after (though he was slightly too good). Should be thankful he's last this long as No1 but puts in a transfer request when someone takes his place. Continues to not command his area and let's in stupid goals. Will be out the door with Gowling, Disley and Chambers.

Looks like Collins, Andrew and Davies will be off at the end of the season too. Collins and Davies are replaceable but the real stinker is Danny Andrew. We never keep our best players.

Anyway, onto the game.

Thought we slightly edged the first half, especially the first 15 as Doncaster looked a bit caught out. Very well taken goal but then some very sloppy defending takes us behind at the break; Marquis showed why he's the division's top striker.

Second half was a non event until the (POSSIBLY) offside goal. Game over after that. 4th was a good breakaway goal that should've been defended better. I didn't see the fifth as I'd left by that point. Heard it wasn't pretty.

Vose and Bolarinwa improved us massively when they came on; both should be starting. Poor performances from Boyce, Mills, Clements and Osborne. Didn't think Gunning was as bad as other people. Sam Jones is the bright spot, easily our best business this season.

Our forum is looking lovely atm. Think I'll stay away from home games for the rest of the season, not because of the football but because the truly awful people that sit around me. Ruined the game for me today.

Donny were clinical and quick, if not spectacular. 5-1 flattered them though.

Behave, we had 4 chances before you scored, 2 cleared off the line and 2 good saves, we had another 2 cleared off the line in the second half, the only thing wrong with the score was that we only scored 5

If you're going to class efforts on goal as hypothetical goals, then we could have 3 more goals too. Two cleared off the line and a save from a free kick.

No just pointing out your inaccuracy of being the better side in the first half and 5-1 flattering us.

Good points but I don't agree with Mills having a poor game, thought he was our best player with Jones slightly behind him. I thought Danny Andrew was dreadful, the first bad game I've seen from him all season so at least he finally plays shit when everyone else does. Clements was disgracefully bad and should be very grateful for Gunning who put in one hell of a display. I wanted to like him but I'm less convinced everytime I see him and after today I'd rather he didn't play again. Also becoming less convinced about McKeown, been light years off his great season in 12/13. Having Henderson to compare to had done him no favours.

It's all doom and gloom here at the minute. Yes maybe MB shouldn't have played our 3rd and 4th choice centre halves as well as another defender in midfield against the best team in the league, a local team at that, but let's be real after losing Bogle we were never making the playoffs in a million years. Luckily a couple of us still have perspective but MB is losing masses of fans by the week. Just hoping the board remember that patience paid off with Hurst and Bignot deserves the same.
