Annoyingly I can't sticky this thread anymore so forgive me for giving it a few boosts over the next few days.

The big preview is up above. It may have the odd typo in but as people point them out to me, I shall amend them.

Please, please, please - help me out by posting it up on your club's messageboard. I'll try and tackle the clubs who have no fans on here.

Finally, I'm sure you won't, but please don't be too offended by what I've written about your club. It's a bloody tough league to call this season and I've researched it until my eyes bleed and I'm still not much the wiser. There is some method in my madness but of course a lot of it is gut.

Enjoy :-)

Only had a chance to look at the Notts bit, nothing to disagree with at all (although not sure I’d call Cal unheralded!). Definitely agree about us being extremely difficult to predict. Will get to the others in a bit, but looks a class piece of work.

I do one of these each year for our blog, don’t think there’s too many huge differences in our predictions!

Like Jacob, only read my team but again nothing to disagree with and thanks for the vote of confidence, I would take 19th as we stand today. Will go and work my way through the rest after posting on the Lynn forum, thanks for all your work.

Excellent read and well done the amount of work you put into it must have been immense.
Only typing error I can find is under top scorer you appear to spelt Paul Mullin as Michael Cheek

What an effort Lee!

Aye County looks good - I would say it’s very unlikely Hogan our captain doesn’t start when fit ahead of I should imagine Palmer.

Lord Wilson has done it again! Great work Lee! I can’t imagine how long that took.

Yep, very difficult to predict us, if R&R can stay fit for the majority of the season I think we’ll be top 3, they’d score or assist enough goals to outweigh any defensive frailties I’d think. I’d also be surprised if Weymouth finish below Dover! But we’ll see.

All in all, a tremendous preview.

Have posted a link on Stonesnet.

Dan Wishart is still with the club, was asked to improve fitness and has.

Good read that. Clearly done your research, fair play! Don't think you will be a million miles away with your predictions. Think you've summed us up pretty much spot on too for what it's worth.

As others have said can't disagree with what's been said about my team.
Only thing I'd question is Phil Brown going, can only see it if another team comes in for him or we're so bad we're below Dover come Xmas. Ron loves the man, last time round he'd lost the dressing room a good 4-5 months before he was finally given the boot but Ron just couldn't bring himself to sack his bestie.

That's a serious write-up! Fingers crossed you've got the title winners right!

Just a point though, you mentioned we furloughed "a large chunk of players" last season. I think it was 4 players....which is not exactly a large chunk.

Fair play otherwise.

Yeah I picked up on that too - 4 players furloughed including two youth players nowhere near the squad and an injured goalkeeper.

Other than that - a good write up and think he's got us summed up about right in the 'title challengers' section - whether we win it or not is another matter!

Good going once again, 13th and 16th in Lee's table went up last season, so money on Barnet and Yeovil this year :shifty:

Phenomenal stuff fella.

I’m not quite convinced on our starting lineup you’ve got in terms of McAlinden playing there as well as Davies in midfield as that looks incredibly gung-ho but it’s hard to predict seeing as we are bound to sign more players in the coming weeks.

Kewell and Brown to leave are absolute certs I agree.

Fantastic work as always Lee, I'll stick it on a couple of our forums (not the one with the tin foil hat nutters though).

Only typo I spotted was Klaidi Polos should be Klaidi Lolos.

Personally can't see us lining up without Wright, got a feeling Johnson's going to go with a genuine front 2 this season of Wright and Holman with CLE a bit deeper than last year.

Thanks for the awesome feedback so far fellas. 1000 views in less than a day so I'm pretty chuffed at the mo.

Keep pointing any errors out to me. A friend informed me earlier that I'd imported Terry Butcher instead of Tim Flowers into Solihull's managerial history. The fact this was pointed out to me at 11pm last night 6-7 hours after launching shows just how much notice people take of Solihull

I've put it all over my twitter (feel free to follow by the way: https://twitter.com/leewilsonDRFC ). Going to attempt some of the quieter messageboards now. If anyone has any good ideas for where else to promote it, let me know.

Superb Lee. You know more about our team than 95% of our own fans probably, in fact easily.

Great work. And you didn't do too badly with the prediction table last year!

I reckon you've got our starting line up almost spot on although I suspect Effiong will start up front on Saturday.

Hoepfully Maguire-Drew does well for us, I remember him doing fairly well for Daggers 4-5 years ago.

Thanks fellas. Buzzing at the feedback. I did send it to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney on twitter - be amusing if I did get a retweet there (very much doubting it!).

Cheers those who've posted to their club messageboard for me. One Chesterfield fan had the cheek to call me a 'geeky non-league fan'. As if we all aren't!

Can any of you fellas post it to the Aldershot, Altrincham, Barnet, Bromley, Dover, Grimsby, Halifax, Notts County, Southend and Weymouth forums please?

Stuck it on our messageboard along with my much less well-researched, more sarcastic and almost certainly wildly incorrect effort below:

Great preview that Jacob. Laughed at the 'Congolese Batistuta'!

Very similar predictions there as well.

Yeah, just had a look and I think it’s only King’s Lynn and maybe Torquay we’ve got any real difference in placing a on at all. Lynn particularly is probably over ambitious haha.

Great stuff LW. Very fair/accurate assessment of our lot.

Disagree that Hurst will be moved on though, I reckon he's one of the safest in the division this season and will be given a few years to get it right.

Edit: Have only read our bit so far, but will be reading that and Jacob's when I get chance.

Akheem Rose needs to be in your Dover Out list, by the way. You've got him in their IN list at present.

Jacob, thanks for an alternative view and I am happy with your over ambitious prediction, however unlikely, and good to see you have balanced it with "Their Dracula-doppelganger chairman is also likely to get into an argument with someone at some stage this season" which really doesn't really count as a 'prediction' at all unless you are also predicting the sun will rise in the East tomorrow

I’ve put both yours and Jacob’s previews on our forum. The tone of your prediction last season was very accurate, so I’m hoping that you’re just as accurate this season!
