I was actually only half-joking.

Where have I been pro modern football? I clearly say 'it's not often I would say this'.

As you've brought it up though, I have no qualms with people choosing to watch two legitimate clubs play against each other on the box rather than lining the pockets of Winkleman.

What's a half joke ? :bl: So how you getting on with KRobbo is he legitimate now that he's left the franchise or forever tainted because of us ? Strange how you should be so concerned with lining Pete's pockets, when the one club with with the biggest gripe hold such great boycotts at our place :£

Half joking in the sense that I don't actually commend people for choosing to be armchair supporters but wouldn't denounce them for choosing to not go to MK either.

Nothing personal, MK supporters on here are a fine bunch as I'm sure many others are but for me the day MK start getting 20k+ fans in the stadium will be a sad one, it will give Winkleman some sort of claim of justification for the move. I hope that never happens.

Robinson is still a twat, only difference is that he's now our twat.

Fair does Bobbin, I'd only be a customer if I didn't defend my club ;) Think we're a way off getting those kind of attendances, we had the chance to consolidate last season and stay up in the Championship- but didn't take it - hey ho.

Robinson is a twat, but he'll put the effort in, thankful for all he did with us, but his time had come- think he'll do well for you short term tbh - not so sure he'll be able to maintain it at what is a bigger club.

Absolutely mate, would be disappointed if you didn't defend them.

Yeah, I was saying on another thread that although he's a twat, I like him for some reason and there has already been improvement in performances.

I wasn't shouting for Robinson to leave because I was worried about who would take his place. He had done pretty well for us and I wondered how tied his hands were in the championship and this season after relegation.

We haven't gone down the merry go round of mediocre lower league managers since getting rid of Danny Wilson and I was worried we would get some tired out old league 1 incumbent.

However Winkleman has gone 'outside the box' again for better or worse. We shall see.

We are firmly in this thread now after the last 2 games. Still a decent season so far.

Taking my place back here.
Shafted by an appalling ref it seems.
Wrongful red card, then a wrongful penalty turned the game. No coming back from that point.
Happy with mid table after 2 promotions though.

Wasn't a wrong red card. Two obvious dives from your player - penalty looked a bit iffy from my first view.

14th place and 11 points clear of the drop. We're calling the removal men, boxing up the possessions and moving out of the Relegation thread. Good old Justin Edinburgh.

From what i saw on a feed, didn't look like a dive at all, Sky sports also looked like Sincs was clipped, Bury's penalty looked like a dive and the two footed challenge on James was just a booking. Shit ref puts us both firmly in this thread. Rub of the green, we had none tonight and Bury got shed loads

I think we're safely in here now, and what a match to bring us to this point.

The first 'dive' and 'foul' for the penalty are IDENTICAL. Yet the ref books our player and awards you a penalty for it.

On looking at it they are and Leigh should have been booked. Maybe Sinclair should have been given a warning rather than him being booked twice. We need points though so I don't care if we get decisions like that for the rest of the season and I'm sure you wouldn't if you were put in the same position.

When your at the bottom you need all the biased referees and luck you can get, I won't hold it against you just stings when people give up a days work and the cost of travelling half the country to have a match completely overshadowed by dubious and inconsistencies refereeing. If you survive by just a single point at the end of the season think Toner should never have to buy himself a drink in Bury again. Good luck for the rest of the season though isn't the first time inept refs have fucked up our season, won't be the last.....

We are firmly in here now and Oldham have punished us for getting ideas above our station.

Bolton on Tuesday has dispelled any lingering hopes of anything other than being a resident in this thread.

Just looking at the tables, League One is going to be a bloody difficult division next season - the calibre of the clubs involved are getting stronger and stronger every year: Doncaster, Plymouth, Portsmouth (and hopefully ourselves) all coming up, possibly Bradford and Millwall staying down; Oxford, MK, Peterborough, Charlton, will all be pushing, plus Rotherham, Wigan and possibly one of Birmingham, Nottingham Forest or Blackburn joining from the Championship.

Going to be a lot of tears shed from some. They can't all get promoted!

You've had 2 promotions already Saggie, stop being greedy. We can't have you lot playing in the Championship with a tent for a stand! What would our posh friends upstairs make of it? :eyes:
We would be associated with a tent and we can't have that! :told:

If Mccan's still in charge and there's not a massive clear out in the summer I think we'll be back in league two by Christmas.

We're still 11th despite winning 6 out of the past 22 games. This league is dreadful.
