2016 has been kind to us so far, we've won 4 out of our 6 league games and that little run of form has moved us into the top six, sweating on the fitness of Westwood and Hutchinson ahead of the visit of the Bees but given our home form this season you have to fancy us Saturday.
That said I thought Brentford were unlucky not to beat us at their place back in September and even more unfortunate to actually lose in the last minute but that's football. They have a decent squad albeit one that has been decimated by both injuries and player sales this season.
Our home record v them in my lifetime has been patchy, a League Cup win in the 90s for us on our way to lifting the cup, a late Dean Smith header denying the Bees a win in 2004, a Deon Burton inspired victory for the visitors when they had ten men (current Owls loanee Michael Turner sent off on 20 mins) a season later being tempered by our 1-0 win in the Play offs. A 3-1 hammering by the Bees in the 2010/11 campaign that flattered us, a bore draw in 2011/12 with big Mig Llera playing for the Bees and then our 1-0 win last season at ours with Kieran Lee scoring a lateish winner to end a drab night.
