Playin through Kingdom Hearts for the first time in years. A few thoughts:

*scart ps2 graphics look fucking terrible on a HD TV.
*the Mario 64 esque 2nd person perspective is awful and makes platforming and skilful combat a complete crapshoot.
*man, kingdom hearts II pretty much surpassed this game in every possible way, especially the combat system.
*donald and goofy's ai is better than the npc ai of like 95% of next games I've played though.

Game of Thrones - Episode 3.

Really good I thought. Definitely the most difficult Telltale game yet in terms of decision-making and how hard it is to manipulate. You have to really think about which dialogue option to choose. Also fits in with the GoT tone by way of there being no good/bad type pathways - The Gared and Mira stuff ultimately boils down to whether they want to help their family at all costs or not. Only dislike I have is that little coal boy, wish he'd fuck off/get killed.

I dont trust the little shit. Seems to be doing too much to help you with getting nothing in return.
But nobody is nice for the sake of it in GoT land

Between loads at the minute, can't get into one specific game. Bought Ground Zeroes the other day, not played it yet. I'm on and off Dragonball Xenoverse (just at the part where you fight Demigra with Beerus after he tries to control him), been playing C&C Generals: Zero Hour, FM14 on and off, Fallout: New Vegas, and a multitude of other random crap. Just can't get into anything right now.

Awesome game, really enjoying it, reminds me a lot of Demons Souls (obviously)
I've avoided reading/watching any playthroughs or guides and just having fun stumbling about finding stuff

Atmosphere and level design in BB is amazing. Add me to PSN, Clyde, if you're up for co-op/pvp/killingshitandstuff sometime.

Just played Episode 1 of Life is Strange. If you tend to like narrative driven games like Heavy Rain, Beyond and the Telltale games, you'll love this. I enjoyed Heavy Rain, loved the walking dead and thought Beyond was a bit all over the place. Life is Strange is definitely up there with the best of this genre I've played. I love the whole rewind aspect, it really makes every decision important as you can see the short term option with both decisions and then have the complexity of whether which is the better choice longer term.

The characters are all very easy to remember, which I'm impressed with for a high school based game. There are a few side characters obviously who may slip the mind but main character wise, I could tell you all their names now a few hours after playing it. Your character is also very likeable. I'm kind of rooting for the geeky guy to turn her head as well.

The story has only just really got going but there are so many questions I want answered that I'll be coming back for more when episode 2 is released. Superb.

Played episode 2 today. Again, very good. I love the graphics and music in particular in this game. The atmosphere is superb. Very much into the story as well.

Just frustrating there's a 6 week wait between episodes. I want episode 3 now.

Battlefield hardline. Given up on the campaign already (I didn't buy it for the campaign tbf), it's fucking terrible.

Online is pretty much standard BF. I like some of the game modes.

I'm up for it mate just that where I am has shit internet, and I don't have PS+
Have to rely on NPC's to help me sometimes
Just had a right ordeal...
Went up that elevator next to the Cathedral ward lamp, died (rolled off the edge) with 8000 echoes, tried to get them back, accidentally fell into a diff part of the tower, ledge dropped all the way down and was in a new area in the streets and had no blood vials so had to run away, found an elevator back up to cathedral ward, opened up a gate I couldn't open from otherside previously and then legged it back down the stairs to the lantern. Then went and got my echoes back.

I liked the first one more than the second one.

I am playing Far Cry 4 and Dying light - the latter which seems pretty fun.

Bought a cheap Nintendo DS so I'm currently playing Mario Kart and Pokemon Black. Nostalgia :)

Need to grab Zelda for it also.

Not very far, the first couple hours were spent dying and researching pretty much while learning how to play, should be able to tomorrow though.

At least it's better than Telltale's method of not saying anything then randomly dropping the next episode.

Is it your first 'From Software' game? Took me ages to get the hang of Demons Souls when it came out
If you don't mind me asking, specifically what bit are you having trouble with?

Yes it is actually, I read up its gonna probably be more difficult if I haven't played a From Software game before, understand why.

I think the main problem is fully getting used to the combat system, the dodging I can tell I need to work on a lot to perfect as I com up against a large enemy and pull myself in too close with no way out. The lack of checkpoints doesn't help either, but I like it that way. Just have I keep grinding it out and should be alright :)

Yeah the lack of checkpoints definitely adds to the intensity,
You may of already read this if you've been researching but regarding levelling...
You can't level up at hunters dream until you encounter the first boss, so if you're having trouble might be worth sprinting all the way to the boss just so you gain 1 'insight' so you can start grinding if needs be

The campaign is actually pretty decent, compared to previous BF games. Critics are saying the same thing, you also unlock camos for multiplayer.

I'm just finding it incredibly slow. The whole episode thing is quite interesting I'm just struggling to get into it.

It's pretty cool when you exit "Next time on Hardline", Have you played through the Everglades yet?

been playing a bit of hardline at my mate's and have been surprised at how amateurish the writing is for the campaign mode. It's a real chore to play through. Multiplayer doesn't add anything new either from what I've seen.
