Not sure about 3 at the back after reading AB's post.

Maybe stick 442 which is what I think Curle will do, but i don't want Gillesphey left back, possibly put Wright there.

Darren Way and the squad have put £300 behind the away bar for travelling fans - I can assure him it's much appreciated

I think we've got a Fan Zone outside the ground this afternoon with drink and music, not sure if it's just for home fans though.

Great first half, should have been 4 up.

First 20 minutes of the second half were an absolute disgrace, the players were playing like they were already on their xmas night out. Improved slightly when Devitt and Ibehre came on and should have wrapped it up with a third, but after a few scary moments we held on.

Big win, I expect 2 more to come before the year is out which will put us in a good season place for a promotion push.

We missed Jones badly though, we lacked control in the midfield until Devitt came on.

Fairly entertaining game, first half in particular. Absolute stunner from Brisley, but I'm sure it was scuffed.

We just didn't start the second half and were on the ropes a bit, but we still created numerous good chances. Jabo was very good when he came on, Devitt also made a positive impact.

Looking forward to Crewe on Boxing Day, hopefully see us go top.

Darren Way is a deluded little guy isn't he!

Better team from start to finish? 2-0 down completely against the run of play? Fuck right off you clown, your team could have been 4-0 down by half time.

Yeah a good second half with an excellent 20 minute spell at the start, but still to say they were the better team from start to finish and should have won the game makes me wonder what game he was watching and what he was smoking.

We were comfortably the better team a first half I don't think Yeovil really contributed anything to, and three-nil wouldn't have been a disservice, so I don't know what Way's on about . Second half we just didn't come out of the dressing room and Yeovil caught us napping at the back, or latched onto some sloppy play. That said their goal was from a corner that came from a free kick. After that both teams had a few chances and while the last twenty was nervy, we had the better of the chances and should really have made things a bit more comfortable for ourselves.

That Yeovil keeper is an absolute clown, he made several howlers and was very lucky that we didn't take advantage of any of them.

Their manager is dishonest and thats why they are not as high as they could be.

He's simply a moron.

Having seen the highlights now, that's no scuff shot from Brisley, he hits it clean as a bell.
Did it take a very slight deflection off Raynes? There's something about the way it moves that at first made me think he scuffed it but now makes me think it took a little deflection.

I don't see anything on the highlights to make me think it nicks Raynes, seems to fly by him smoothly enough... if if had the ref might have given it as a handball as Raynes has his hands up.

I've watched it again and im almost certain it takes a slight deflection off Raynes, just brushes him. You can see the ball changes course ever so slightly after it brushes him, probably giving it more dip on it than it would have.

Artur Krysiak is a great keeper who's won us a lot of points.

Darren Way is certainly not a moron. To come back from the brink of death and now be managing a football league club is no mean achievement

A frustrating game in all, looked comfortable in possession but so sloppy defensively in the first half. Second half was similar to last week - got in to a lot of good situations but didn't seem to create that many clear chances. It shows we're not too far off the top teams in this league though.

As for Way, as MrGL says he's no moron, however, it's not the first time this season he seems to have been watching a different game to the rest of us - more to do with keeping the belief of the squad more than anything I imagine.

Carlisle seemed to have the right blend of physicality and passing football for this league (Adams and Kennedy particularly impressive), and having had a similar last couple of years, a team we can hopefully emulate next season.

I think it was straight after we let them have paddy madden

Oh of course, well they did offer something like 10k for him and that is a lot of money for a club like us. Great deal Greg Abbott made there.

Nope, the 12/13 season we lost 1-3 at home (Mark Beck with a brace...) and drew 3-3 at Brunton Park.

It was May 2011 up here, they beat us 2-0 and funnily Paddy Madden and Francois Zoko were our striker pairing for that game.

So it has been 9 matches since we last lost to them.

Yeah you haven't been a fruitful opponent for us in recent times. Indeed you have now moved ahead in the head to head battle 8 wins to 7.

I don't see us playing you next year though. By most accounts we were outclassed bar about a 25 minute spell and your first was a belter even if deflected.

If our squad holds together we might sneak playoffs but with two losses on the bounce we could do with winning next week, Darren's interviews are a bit odd sometimes the guys passionate about the club and with a paperthin squad perhaps he just wants to protect moral?
