Yeah those moaning about L1/2 not going over there just look at the state of it, doesn’t look like anyone cares to me considering all the threads.

And again the non league section was the same until people moved. The lge 2 is like that because there is no one on that section. Look at non lge and champ and above and all the general sections none are like that because they have active users.

That forum is active everywhere except lge 1 and 2, this forum is dead except lge 1 and 2. Importantly that forum has active mods and admins and zero ads!

Always always the same on this site has been for years. Slow to respond and then when there is a response it's a fob off. Everyone knows that removing that Bet365 ad will fix the snapping to posts issue, but it's been weeks and weeks and still we have the same issue.

This has been posted about on the support section for about a month and nothing, mention another forum and you jump out the woodwork as you are scared people will run off again.

I simply PM'd admin with link to this thread and within minutes they replied on it.

Shouldn't have to tag an admin or mod to get a response, a well run forum would know about the issues daily. Theres been a thread in the support section since November with no response and as I said in there, 4 mods and 4 admins on this site and none had been online in over 6 weeks, some in over a year. That's not how you run a site.

To think the whole forum could have been absolutely spammed with junk and other unacceptable stuff in that time and it would not have been removed unless someone already here would have pm'd a member of staff.

Has this site ever had someone run it who was actually active, posted on it regularly, had a personality, knew what they were doing and wasn't full of shit?

More like fantastic work from the members who actually notified them of a problem the site has had since mid November which the mods didn't even know about because they hadn't been online for over a year.

Yeah not like there hasn't been a thread on the site problems in the site support section since Nov 25th or anything. I suppose that counts as Christmas too because it was started on the 25th!

Anyhow apart from the silly Bet 365 ad, all is now resolved so as the community is happy here, then we carry on as normal, then moan again in 6 months when something happens again that takes weeks to resolve ad nauseam....

Stocky hates the other place for some reason, he was the only one from non-league who didn't move at the time, that's the only reason Stockport got promoted that season, otherwise he would have no where to post about his spreadsheet.

I actually agree and the problem over there is that they ban too many people for petty little things as they once banned me just for telling a Port Vale fan their team was crap and I was a regular poster there too so it's no wonder it's dead now in the lower leagues and starved of any banter.

However this forum here has been poorly managed over so many technical issues and neglected by whoever has run it which has contributed to its loss of members.

A few years ago Oakey's Prediction competition had two or three league tables. Now it's reduced to just 17 players. An example of loss of membership.

Somebody mentioned that there was once 15 pages for one match. Now norm is half that total for entire match-day of all the clubs.

I seem to remember a few years back there was campaign to attract more members by asking them to mention this site on their own team's forums. It worked with decent numbers signing up.
It might be worthwhile doing same again.

Just having a quick glance at the other sides non-league section it does not look like it’s busy compared to what it was on here before the migration.

L1/2 still has a decent base on here but if we want more then it’s up to us really to try.

Prob because the last 4 teams to get promoted had the most posters and now back in lge 2
