Big game tonight, local derby and we are away from home so not confident, regardless of how shit they have been all season long.

Birmingham away - keep it under 5 and I'll be happy.
Especially after losing Crama who's gone back to Brentford

After the standard pretty straight forward victory over stockport last time out it’ll be a much tougher assignment against wycombe at home.

Home ends sold out as per and with them having lost their manager during the week maybe folk will think it’s a good time to catch them on the hop.

After losing the 1-0 away to an absurdly fluke of a goal in the last minute i’m sure the players will be up for it too.

Would still be happy with a point.

Anything could happen really vs Mansfield.

I know that the exact point of a data-led/ Director of Football kind of model is that the manager in charge is not supposed to be so much the be all and end all as they have been in the past - so you get teams like Brighton who have overcome managerial changes with relatively little transitional pain.

But I feel like we’ve got a fair chance of coming unstuck in the short term, which Mansfield should be happy about.

The only thing is, the stands at Field Mill are likely to be stuffed with prospective managerial candidates, in front of whom the players are not likely to turn in a half-arsed shift.

Lincoln (h). Chance here for us, we won’t have any players back by the sounds of it but they should be a lot fresher than the second half at Burton when they were running on fumes.

Got a chance here with Lincoln’s form and a tough run coming up so hope we go for it and get after the Imps.

Our game feels a bit bigger than it really should be doing after a wretched run of form since October time. We've only sold 500 tickets so far compared to the 800 odd on a Tuesday night last season, which shows the apathy around the place at the minute - obviously not aided by failing to score in 8 of the last 11 games either!

Injury/illness wise I don't think we're currently too bad now but the squad is a little light on numbers with Hamer, Walker, Wickens (first choice GK) and Bayliss injured and seeing 3 depart so far in January and perhaps 4 by the weekend.

It'd be great to not just score a goal but actually look like scoring as well!
