could really do with Exeter doing us a favour but I can’t imagine we’ll get it.

Brovers will be keen to bounce back v Mansfield from their worst performance since the last worst performance evvah…

We face mediocrity masters Lincoln City (12th in home form, 13th in away form - smell the averageness), another must win for us but we’ve blown a ton of “on paper” winnable games and nothing can be taken for granted.

Charlton v Hudds is a nice playoff six-pointer, hoping for the HTAFC win but a draw would be ok too.

You never know wwfc, we are now unbeaten in 6 and only conceded 2 goals in that time. Wrexham will have to go some to get past our defence. We are completely different to when we surrendered at Wrexham in the autumn.
I think we will get a point.

Tbh, I'd settle for that. There's gonna be a few points dropped here & there from now untill the end of the season from the top 6 sides (that means up to 7th - coz Brum will walk it with their run-in)

Strange choice for the Thursday night game, I guess Sky thought Orient were looking good for the playoffs when they chose it

It is indeed a strange choice, that and our games with the Steves are now very low scoring after they beat us 3-0 in consecutive games and Wellens totally changed our tactics against them after the second 3-0 loss.

Can't wait for the absolute pasting at Birmingham Saturday! Beating them first time round was a surprise in Ainsworth's first game. Would be astounded if it happens again in Appleton's first game

Just been reading redpassion, they seem a confident bunch! Fail to understand that we were so poor up there but our defence has been transformed since, and going on about set pieces but I think we have the most goals from set pieces in the league!
And no, it isn't our 'cup final'. That was Forest (and maybe Brum).

Lindsey saying all the right things since he came in, we're too good to be in this position, it's going to be hard but it's doable, great bunch of lads, excellent training this week, but I think we're too far adrift to catch up.

We beat Rotherham in the reverse fixture but it was a very lacklustre performance from them rather than anything we did, and I can't see them doing the same again. We've finally getting some players back from injury which helps and it seems Kamari Doyle is on fire. In the last ten games he has the most goal contribution of anyone in the top four leagues (I haven't checked that but a reporter told Lindsey that in the press conference). Anything we get here will be great.

Strange, he was mostly bang average for us. Maybe he couldn't understand the manager.

I'll be honest. I don't think he is going to make a top class footballer but the stats (if true) can't be sneezed at. Mind you, even in my dreams I get the sack from a scouts job.

We are really struggling with injuries again, we have been total sick notes this season.
All the centre halves are out so, Odaffin and Humphreys will continue as the makeshift pairing of the last few games.

Andre Green is missing, so is McWilliams, MacDonald, Wilkes and Gore, so I imagine a couple of kids should get on the bench.

We blow hot and mainly cold so don't write off your chances just yet, we could just as easily lose as win.

As above.
RP is literally the homebase for many Fantasy Island wannabe inhabitants.
Most 'normal' Wxm fans know full well, that every single game from here-on in, is gonna be a huge battle for points.

Even if we weren't in for the promo race, every team wants to do one over on us...and de-rail the 'Hollywood Express.

Nothing's going to change that. But do remember, that a big percentage of those fans in the away end, have followed Wxm since the our National League days....they wouldn't be able to get a ticket otherwise.

Que serra-serra......and UpTheTown

Yeah I've stopped posting on there. The sheer schizophrenia on show has done my head in for the last time- I'm doing myself a favour and ignoring it for the run in.

As neither ourselves or Exeter concede many I'm half expecting a 0-0 but it'll probably mean someone wins 4-3 today.

One thing we know about recently is tight promotion races so I'm not losing my head either way. It would be nice to finish the day still in second though.

No Mitchell today and looks quite light in midfield. Probably get Whitworth sent off as we have no sub keeper.
Oh well.
And what's happening with Mullin, not even on the bench?

Blimey that was one hell of a rebound after last weeks loss. Thoroughly deserved 4-0 win, with another that looked onside ruled out, a pen not given and a potential red also not given in the first half.

Unfortunately to be behind. Deflected goal and not a lot else. Their keeper is doing well though.
Still think we can get something here

You wait three years for Brophy to score a league goal, and then it's two in a week.

And direct from a corner! What on earth

What is this "winning games of football" that you speak of?

Anyway, file this match under "an advert for the bottom of the League One barrel". To the surprise of nobody whatsoever.

What happened there, Casey?

How's Steve EVANS blood pressure?

Yeah, seriously, wtf happened?

For us it seems like Mike Dodds’ true colours are along the lines of a cagey lower league Southgate, trying to bore the opposition into submission.

Occasionally the attacking players have some fun but we’re generally lacking in the incisive final ball, I think neither side had a sniff of a genuine shot in the first half.

The game turned on an unfortunate cockup from an LCFC player from which we scored, wouldn’t have won otherwise.

Crazy red card from O’Connor for Lincoln, scythed down our CB off the pitch.

3 points is 3 points, but far from convincing.

Time wasting at 1-0 down while you’re fighting for your lives in a relegation battle is a new low even for some of the absolute shit we’ve faced this year.

Shrews were gash but not as bad as Cambridge. Blues were much faster and more relentless than they’ve been in a while.

I can guarantee you that Shrewsbury aren't fighting for their lives, and haven't been for some while. Even without the week they've had.

Just seen the penalty back, and it's the most blatant dive I've ever seen ffs. Ridiculous by the linesman to give that.
