I'm going to be honest.

I love nothing more than when I get a little time on my own while the Mrs is out with our little one and I do feel a slight disappointment when they get back home.

I normally take this opportunity to have a glass of Archers and sit down without being asked to do things or play a bloody jigsaw with the little un.

Do we all enjoy just having time to ourself or just me?

When my children were little, I used to do the old pretending to go for a poo, or having a very long shower, all that kind of stuff. I even stopped doing sickies at work, as it was harder to stay at home. I laid a patio and a garden path one summer, took months doing it a couple of hours at a time, but it was worth it to get some time alone. When my wife first went back to work after our first, she only did two shifts - a late one day and an early the next, so my mother-in-law had the baby overnight. I used to love those days at work, as it meant I was alone in the house between 1730 and 2100.

the past two years were the fucking hell, especially the past 3 months.

I mean, there is no harder way to go after i ended the marriage in June.

after 2 weeks she was in a new relationship, she moved the door next to me along with her new boyfriend and even we are living door to door she didnt allows me to see our daughter for many many weeks.

but i am in peace now as i realized icant change things which are out of my control.

they already have

I know that my daughter loves me so much, i have dates time to time. some stay for a sleepover, some not.
have some real good friends who were travelling 600km to support me.

and even her family spit into my direction when we meet us on the street, it doesnt touch me anymore and only makes me smile and shows me that the decision was right.

tbf. its not like that i had a choice. she wrote me on a sunny day in July that she moves the door next to me...

In the meantime is the hardest Part to get the women into my Flat without telling them that my ex-wife is living door-to-door to me. thats nothing you could explain on a first date
