What do you expect ? Wigan is a rugby town playing in a 25000 stadium.
And does it matter ?
The league is not ranked on attendances. You sound like Bradford fans.
Our crowds are small yet we got out of this league. And only went down because your cheating bastards robbed us of it in the last 5 minutes with players you couldn’t afford.

Is it not supposed to be a level playing field?
Give Sunderland two free tickets as well

The last part is fair

Sunderland do not need free tickets - they will sell out everywhere.
I’ve always been impressed with wigans away support, at home it doesn’t look so good as the ground is clearly too big.

What is the problem? When we took 3,500 to Charlton they were in the middle of their season ticket holders could invite two friends for free. I don’t know of any Argo fan who had an issue with this, rather they all said it was a good thing. They did note that the home crowd was a bit subdued at points because not everyone knew the chants etc, but resoundingly they supported a move to bring in more fans. So well done Wigan I say (though I’d still prefer a proper pasty to one of your pies).

Is not the point of playing at home that the home team has most of the advantage? I’d be mightily ticked off if Home Park became a level playing field for our opponents.

Exactly this and it wasn’t just free tickets Willy nilly, only season ticket holders could claim them.

As it turns out, we did it 3 games in a row and won all 2-0 so job done.

I agree - if it was meant to be a level playing field then ticket revenue should be shared.

I'm sure Donny would love to see some of the receipts from the 38,000 plus that watched them last weekend.

I'm all for giving kids tickets if it isn't going to impact on the normal paying fans, Anything to stop them becoming Chelsea, Arsenal and other premiershite tv 'supporters' of which we have more than most in MK.
