Everyone thought City would run away with it, but there is a sort of title race happening.

Liverpool remain the last team still unbeaten, even though everyone said City would be invincible. Spurs are a bit more losey, but haven't even drawn a game (which is weird). Chelsea and Arsenal have lost a combined number of 5 games between them. While Man Utd and Newcastle have lost 14 in total.

Could be anyone's.

We are getting back to the form we showed last season whilst conceding less and controlling games more. Would never have dreamed of a points tally like this at this stage. Big few weeks coming up for Liverpool though, Arsenal and City away. We get through them still in it, and the dream could still be alive.

City rightly remain favourites, but this Liverpool side is getting better and better.

Stop messing about and answer the question Salty mate. You want to say Liverpool but you don't have it in you. Steven was right about you and your raisin sized balls imo.

City btw. Think we'll just fall short but win a league and CL double next season.

I'm more interested in the 2019-20 Championship title race between Man Utd and Preston North End (ft. 2019 Ballon d'Or winner Sean Maguire).

If the natural order of things continues then Liverpool will be heading into the final stretch as favourites (while proclaiming themselves champions already, naturally) before collapsing spectacularly with City picking up the pieces and the trophy.

City's experience will likely be the difference. Get to 4-5 games to go with it still being neck and neck, it will be the difference I suspect unfortunately.

Heart says Liverpool, head says the vile ones.

Is there anything else you want for Xmas ? What about an audio book of Juan Mata narrating (possibly have to crank the sound up) A Tale Of Two Cities ?

I said City preseason though we'd be closer. That is still looking the case. However it is looking closer than I thought it was going to be, which is great.

City are still clear favorites imo. But I'm getting more optimistic for every weekend.

If the form we're in continues we could actually do it.
We got the players, quality and depth as well as Klopp to bring it home.

Man Utd have won the league every year this decade that ends with 3^x where x is a whole number. :animatedf:

Spurs might do the opposite to that year Leicester won the league. Instead of coming 3rd in a two horse race, they may come first in a 2 horse race they weren't involved in.

There better be some winning the league clauses in our transfer dealings with Liverpool. :£:£

Spurs still have to come to us and it's six points. I'm more worried about City, still.

Big mistake from City not paying what we wanted for VvD. Laporte is nowhere near his quality. Defence win titles and Liverpool have the best CB in the world. Clear favourites now.

City have been found out LMAO.

Teams know how to play against them now.

7 goals conceded in 19 Games. This is simply unbelievable. Still 19 to play but hey.....Wow! :eyes:
