There are a lot of people who think Chelsea will no longer be top 4 for atleast 2 season. They're going to be shocked when they see Chelsea dominate next season. They are playing a whole new style, a style never before seen in the league, they are using a 4-2-4 formation with loads of beautiful football. I've never seen Chelsea play like this my whole life, solid defensively, and the attack is deadly! Almost every time they attacked, it looked like they were going to score. This is a new Chelsea, one that will not only challenge for top four, but will also have the best chance out of everyone to win the whole thing. I know what you're thinking, this kid is crazy. They played two games and they lost the first game 2-0. In that first game, Conte had 3 days to work with the team, and he'd never even seen the guys play before, so in that first game, he just played a regualar Chelsea team, 4-2-3-1 and wanted to see the players. After seeing that game, he began two training sessions a day and he knows what he wants to do now. 2nd game in charge, he had time to see the players in action and he had time to instruct the players into his style of play. This is without Hazard, Cesc, Kante, Cahill, Azpilicueta, and Courtois. Plus, they will only get better from here, what I saw today was the best attacking and defensive Chelsea team I've ever seen, and they are still rusty. Everything was perfect and the only thing it was lacking is fitness. They had a few slip ups, but again, not even our main players were there and it was their second game this pre-season, and even with the slip ups, they played beautiful football all around the pitch. They even had 71% possession!

Chelsea had a bad season last year due to many reasons, but in the middle of the season they had nothing to play for and thats why they continued to play poorly, now, they look like a whole new team, and with additions yet to come, I assure you, Chelsea will dominate the league next season, mark my words.

No, people wont be shocked, you'll just throw money at your problems like always and hope it goes away. It's Chelsea you're talking about, people wont be surprised if you win it, not like were talking about Leicester winning the league...

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
It's good no one ever reads too much into pre season games, isn't it. I'm sure a win over an Austrian mid table outfit is all the evidence you need that you will piss this shitty league with a record points total.

I mean, looking at Pellet Gun FC, or whatever they are called at the moment, they have a fine heritage of occasional forays into the Austrian top flight before promotion into it five or six years ago, since when they have done.. Alright. They're the Austrian Swansea City. A Swansea City from a third rate League. You only managed to finish three points ahead of the actual Swansea City last season.

One (at least) of Klopp, Conte, Wenger, Mourinho or Guardiola is finishing outside the top 4 next season and I can't wait to see who it is.

It'll almost certainly be Klopp unless Liverpool over-perform and cause Wenger to miss out.

Tend to agree, don't think their summer business has been good at all. I don't think £25M for Wijnaldum is a good use of money either - maybe they should invest some of that into a competent scouting system.

Defensively more solid, more pace and power added to a team that's already scoring goals; I think they'll be thereabouts.

I think you'll finish 5th to 7th, that probably counts as thereabouts doesn't it?

Like I said, I know the team is nothing, but I'm talking about the new play style, its more attacking than you'd think, almost every attack has 6 Chelsea players ahead of the ball and every time we defend we have 6 Chelsea players behind the ball. I am only talking about the play style.

We spent 30m on two specialists. Its better than Man City who spent 50m each on flops, Liverpool spent 100m on Southampton, or Tottenham wisely spending the Bale money.

From everyone I've talked to, they all wrote Chelsea off. In everyones top 3, it included City, United, and Arsenal.

Almost every attack with 6 players ahead? Let's hope that they don't play this against a counter-attack team ;).
Chelsea has a big advantage to the likes of Arsenal, ManU, ManCity , they can concentrate on the League and have no European "Matters" next season.

We'll compete but yeah may finish fifth which isn't the end of the world. Liverpool play less games than those competing for top four apart from Chelsea so I'm confident it's well doable.

Which is much easier against lower level opposition. Will that style be possible against Premier League quality players?

Who are these £50m flops of which you speak?

Chelsea will be a force for sure, world class players like Gary Cahill, Baba Rahman, Juan Cuardado and a captain in John Terry that always brings honor and dignity to the badge. Should be another great season for the humble, and inclusive fan-base that is Chelsea Football Club.

Yeah Mark, who wants billionaire owners willing to throw millions of pounds at trying to gain some success at their club?
