Although I am very much in the minority I wouldn't go to your place again if you paid me. The reason for this dates back many years when a Friday evening game was called off less than 10 minutes before kick off. To make matters worse the stadium announcer told fans in the ground that the game would now be played on the Saturday - THIS WAS A LIE and even though Saturday morning brought fine weather there was never any plans to play on the Saturday.
Blimey you know how to hold a grudge, that's got to be over 30 years ago as we haven't played on Friday night's since the mid eighties :bg:

I wonder if they’ll go ahead with the annual Christmas double header this year? Would seem harsh on whoever is the 23rd team (and therefore has the bye) to miss out on a game on both Boxing Day and New Years Day?

who missed out last season?

Don't think it has happened for a while but will one team accidently put up their fixtures early?

Give it another ten years and I may start to simmer down a bit.

Surely away to us on a Saturday in August is the jackpot all you northerners dream of?

I'm hoping for the blank fixture personally We have such a short break due to the play-offs that an extra weeks preparation would be most welcome.
I'd be torn, as I've already decided I'll definitely be going to our first away day but I'm also very lazy so going that far is kind of a pain in the arse. It'd be lovely when I get down there and I'd maybe even consider making a few days of it or something but the actual journey doesn't fill me with excitement at all.

If Dover just give in now no one would miss a game each week!

If we are at home as expected, I’d quite like a Stockport, Grimsby, Wrexham or Chesterfield. Let’s get normal football back properly with a massive crowd and an atmosphere.

I'd be happy with Notts away for sure.

First 5 for us:

Aldershot (A)
Wealdstone (H)
Kings Lynn (A)
Bromley (H)
Dover (A)

Favourable start really, couple of treks in there straight away though but on paper, we should fancy our chances really..

2 home games over Christmas/New year period too so happy with that

Nice to see us getting fixture'd out of contention early doors. 4 Brothers in the first 8 games.

Question...if you're a BELT coming down for the second time do you still get a customary welcome spanking from one of the tinpot lot early on in the season?

It's definitely still a thing and Bromley is one of the most common places for that sort of stuff happening.

Tough first 6 for us - 3 of the brotherhood (Notts, Chesterfield, Southend) plus Yeovil, Solihull and the Josh Rees derby against Boreham.

Shame that home games vs. Grimsby, Notts County and Torquay are Tuesday nights - 3 of the bigger followings I'd have expected.

That run in could be crucial against sides that will also be expected to be featuring in the bottom half.

Edit: Southend at home on Bank Holiday Monday just has to be their welcome to non-league moment.

Agreed, a real sickening welcome back, playing on the plaggy pitch against a team whose sole aim is it just kick fuck out of yer, imagine having to watch Chris Bush play for your team every week, yuck.

Our first three away games are a true welcome to non-league: Kings Lynn, Wealdstone, Halifax. First three home games we can just pretend nothings happened: Stockport, Wrexham, Aldershot.

We've managed to get one of the free weekends in May, so we end with two home games. Last away for us is Wrexham which I like.
