68. Brum
Points: 35 | Lists: 2 | Number One's: 0 | 2013 Position: N/A | 2011 Position: N/A
Seasons: N/A | Episodes: 65

Brum was a childrens series about the adventures of a car of the same name. It was first broadcast in 1991, and new episodes were produced sporadically until 2002.

The title character is a half-scale replica of a late-1920s Austin 7 "Chummy" convertible. He drives by himself (in reality by radio control) and can express himself in a number of ways including opening and closing his doors and bonnet, "bobbing" his suspension, flashing and swivelling his headlamps, rotating his starting crank, extending his turn signals, and using his horn.

The actors in Brum do not speak; mime and off-screen narration help propel the story. Each episode of Brum begins and ends in the same way - with Brum, sitting amongst the cars in a motor museum. When the museum owner's back is turned, he comes to life and heads out to go exploring in the "Big Town", but always returns to the museum at the end of each episode.

Originally the programme was set in the city of Birmingham in England, hence the name; in addition to its onomatopoeic nature of a car engine revving.

Absolutely loved this when I was a kid. Loving hearing that theme music again!

Seasons: 4 | Episodes: 77

I like the chocolates and the first series of this TV show. We know what happened afterwards, but the first series would top some lists. Peter Pesmelli.

Heroes is an American science fiction drama that appeared on NBC (BBC Two in the UK) for four seasons from 2006 to 2010. The series tells the stories of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities, and how these abilities take effect in the characters' lives.

The programme began with a critically acclaimed first season, but never lived up to its early promise in later seasons. The show is set to return under the name 'Heroes Reborn' later this year, although it is yet to pick up a UK broadcaster.

Been meaning to watch the West Wing for a while now, can't decide whether it may be a bit dated for me or not, but I will almost certainly give it a go.

Points: 38 | Lists: 3 | Number One's: 1 | 2013 Position: 236th | 2011 Position: 118th
Seasons: 2 | Episodes: 22

New Zealand's 4th most popular folk parody duo attempt to take on America and fail. They wrote a few songs along the way and it was pretty fucking funny.

Flight of the Conchords is an American/New Zealand comedy series which was first aired in 2007. The show follows the adventures of Flight of the Conchords, a two man band from New Zealand, as its members seek fame and success in New York City. The show stars the real life duo of Jemaine Clement and Academy Award winner Bret McKenzie, who play fictionalized versions of themselves. A second season was shown in 2009.

Going off the name of the video here. I haven't actually watched it first...

That was my number one, and I genuinely can't believe it's not much higher in this list. Definitely the best TV show I've ever seen.

62. Curb Your Enthusiasm *
Points: 39 | Lists: 4 | Number One's: 1 | 2013 Position: 30th | 2011 Position: 12th
Seasons: 8 | Episodes: 80

It's another big drop for the show that finished 12th in 2011. Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American comedy which was first broadcast in 2000. It's last season aired in 2011. Although it has not officially concluded, it is thought to be unlikely that a ninth season will ever materialise.

The series was created by Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, who stars as a fictionalised version of himself. The series follows Larry in his life as a semi retired television writer and producer in Los Angeles and later New York City. It often features guest stars, and many of these appearances are by celebrities playing versions of themselves fictionalized to varying degrees.

As with Seinfeld, the subject matter in Curb Your Enthusiasm often involves the minutiae of daily life, and plots often revolve around Larry David's many faux pas and his problems with certain social conventions and expectations, as well as his annoyance with other people's behavior. The character has a hard time letting such annoyances go unexpressed, which often leads him into awkward situations.

How the fuck did I not vote for Mad Men?? Must have been a mis-type. Yeah, it should be much higher. It's fucking great.

I loved this show when I was younger, though I'll probably get ridiculed for its high placing on my list. 3 other people voted for it, so fuck you all ;)

Agreed, the first series weas brilliant but the rest was utter shite, series 2 could have been so much better after the ending of series 1 but the writers f*cked it up.

The very mention of Heroes pulls at the heart strings. It's like a bereavement the way it went from one of the best single seasons of TV to an absolute shambolic streak of piss. I try to simply treat Heroes S1 as a separate entity to what followed.

Bron or Broen (The Bridge) is a Scandinavian crime drama co-produced by Svergies Television (Sweden) and Danmarks Radio (Denmark). Thus far two seasons have been broadcast, whilst a third season started production at the end of 2014.

The first season started with a police investigation following the discovery of a dead body on the Øresund Bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark.

59. Blackadder
Points: 42 | Lists: 5 | Number One's: 0 | 2013 Position: 18th | 2011 Position: 18th
Seasons: 4 | Episodes: 24

This is another show that drops down the list, having sat in 18th place in both previous lists. It scored 113 pts in 2013, and appeared on twice as many lists.

As for the show, well Blackadder is the title of four series of a period British sitcom. Starring Rowan Atkinson as Edmund Blackadder, and Tony Robinson as Blackadder's dogsbody, Baldrick. Each series was set in a different historical period, with the two protagonists accompanied by different characters though several reappear, for example Melchett (Stephen Fry) and Lord Flashheart (Rik Mayall).

In 2004, it was voted the best British sitcom of all time, topped by Only Fools and Horses. The show is older than I thought, having started in 1983 and concluding in 1989...before some (most) of you bastards were even born.
