Spirited Away?! Terrific film but emphatically not a Disney movie...
Pretty sure Bambi and The Fox and The Hound were the only two of mine to go.
Bambi in 20th and The Fox and The Hound in 18th. Love both films, although they both get emotional.
Always thought it was a girl. Have I been wrong all this time?
I'll also be including iconic songs for movies as links to really take you back to your childhood.
I read that as a naughty comment. I need help.Bambi deserved better. Especially after what happened to his mum.
It's not for kids let's put it that way. Watching Bambi and The Jungle Book you just know which one is a life lesson that animals are killed by humans and which one is a fairytale of a young boy getting raised by a pack of wolves, a bear and a panther. The tiger is the only one with half a brain in that film!Im gonna put it out there. Bambi was shit. I was one of those kids who saw every single new Disney film at the pics, and watched their entire back catalogue on dodgy knock off VHS tapes. Bambi wasnt just rubbish compared to all the other good ones Disney did...it was just rubbish. It was the 5th one they ever made after Snow White, Pinocchio, Dumbo and Fantasia...where the hell did it come from? Its just dull, and despite the notion that every child cried when his mum died, I think its possibly the only Disney film that never made me cry! And I include most of the ones I only saw as an adult too...so his mum gets shot? She's a deer, it happens! Not like she was murdered and betrayed by her brother like Mufasa. Or imprisoned in a cathedral and murdered by a priest like Quasimodo's mum. Or turned into a monster and asked to find someone who loves him like the Beast. Hell, what happened to Dumbo's mum was more traumatic!
Oh, and Fox and the Hound...there was tears...that bit when she takes the fox back to the woods...bawling like a baby...
Oliver was one of mine. One of the first I ever had on video, and like most of the Disney films in the late 80s/ early 90s, had a great soundtrack. How can you go wrong with Billy Joel and Huey Lewis?
I like Bambi's bird. The rabbitt's bird is just a slag.
I voted for Cars 2 and yes only because I had to get every pixar movie except Ratarubbish.
Accepted it would be low but not sure how Monsters Uni, Brave and Bolt finished so low. Think too many people are voting from their childhoods rather than from watching with their kids now, that's were the real value in Disney is (your kids faces and memories of watching the films not your own!)

Five of mine gone already - EIGHT BELOW IS THE SADDEST MOVIE EVER (But is v. good). Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, 20,000 Leagues and Haunted Mansion also on my list.
But arguably the best/creepiest/scariest ever Disney film (even though it appeared like 12th on my list) is....RETURN TO OZ!
Better than the original imo, you should all watch it because it's bloody great/weird.
Why would I be looking at my kid's face during a Disney movie? I've likely put it on the telly so I can get some shit done without them "helping" me.
While it's true that I have a fair few films based on how much I loved them as kids, I also have the likes of Toy Story 3 (which I obviously never watched as a kid) and The Lion King (which I only actually watched properly about 4 years ago) very high on my list.
Of Monsters University, Brave and Bolt I've only ever watched Brave, and I can absolutely say that finished so low because it's utterly forgettable and by far the lowest point of an otherwise stellar line up from Pixar. Even if Cars and Cars 2 were the only previous releases from Pixar, Brave would still be disappointing given past standards.
Yeah, we watched and read holes in school, loved it. Didn't make my list though.Holes is great! Read it and watched it in school like Harv, so it made my list.
