Two awards in one night for Rammy.

Derby win the Johnstone's Paint Community Club of the year, and Rammy finishes 2nd in this - these are the sort of nights you dream of...

That's most certainly made up for our faltering season.

Fuck me look at those 10's. Humbling.

It was a massive shock to me when I finished top last time around, and while I admit I expected to do well again this time around to get that top spot again is an absolute honour. It's good to know that people appreciate the hard work that goes into the stuff I run on here, and that people seem to generally enjoy the shit I come out with.

So yeah. I know I tend to whack out some monster posts (my post about WM 31 proved that) but I'm kind of humbled beyond words here. So I'll just leave it this: Thanks, and I love you too.:bow:

Big thanks to Aber for running this as well, it's been a great read. :bravo:

I'm glad some of you enjoyed it, personally I feel like TCM's summaries were more eloquently put across compared to my tame efforts. I know it's not been universally popular but I've enjoyed putting this together, helped via the large number of lists sent in and replies on this thread.

Long term gains.
I'll let you off then.

In all seriousness, thanks to the 17 peeps who put me on their lists! I'd be interested to know who had me top! As the saddest c*** on here with the most posts, I was hoping to break the top 5/10 so very happy with 3rd. Can't really argue with the top 2 either, both great posters.

Great work Aber. Really enjoyed reading all this especially the tete a tete's between the old guard and some of the newer posters.

Oaf - (10+10+10+10+10+9+8+8+7+7+5+5+5+5+4+3+3)

So Oaf retain his crown from the last time this was run. A former moderator on TFF, Oaf supports Plymouth Argyle although you wouldn't know given the lack of time he spends in the League 2 section. Oaf can be seen posting in General Chat, TV and Films Forum (posting particularly on his hobby, wrestling) and in the Computer Games Forum. A poster who has been adequately described in posts before this reveal, there can't be many posters who have a bad word to say about him. OAF'd has become a common catchphrase on 1FF, inspired by Oaf's tendency to post something seconds after somebody else has posted the same thing.

Who?

I included Rammy on my list, thanks in part to the brilliantly fun GSM, but also for his posts and lists in the TV forum. His views on The Wire and Game of Thrones upset me, but I soon forget all that when I remember he shares my appreciation of all things Lost. Oh, and he introduced me to the fantastic Only Connect!

I love Oaf's posts. It sounds bizarre, but when reading them I really feel like I am sat there chatting away to him. His views on wrestling, TV and films are always interesting and insightful and, for me at least, he is probably the funniest member of this forum. Thoroughly deserved first place.

All of the top 3 made my list, for various different reasons.

On Tom, he's easy to relate to, being around the same age as me and liking similar things. His posts are some of the most emotionally-charged on the forum, something I actually find really endearing. Like some of the Bristol City fans on here, it'll be a shame for the L1 section to lose him if PNE get promoted as, not only will the quantity of posts in said section greatly decrease, but so will the quality.

Love you too m8

All the Swindon love tonight

Cheers mate!

Before the thread now dies out, I just wanna say that I'm glad that two good posters claimed top spots in this farcical charade.

Neither of you made my list though.

I actually do, though I never seem to talk about it on here. Hell, I signed up to TFF way back when to talk football because I was super into Argyle back in the day when we didn't suck... had a season ticket for about 5 seasons. But I'm nowhere near as interested in them any more because they just depress me (I barely even know who the players are now, probably go to about one game per season) so I only ever tend to really use GC/video games/TV/Wrestling sections.

Pretty much, yeah. That makes it sound so dirty, though.

I guess my problem is that I just don't consider going to watch them value for money any more. Hell, I went and watched the LA Lakers, the most successful NBA team of all time, for cheaper than I can get an Argyle ticket. And I'd struggle to get a season ticket now days anyway. And naturally, watching them week in week out vs very rarely going to a game, it seems only natural I'd lose my interest a bit.

One of my best mates at High School was a Plymouth fan. Cool story Tom.

Well done Oaf, hard to argue with you winning again. :D

Only 3 of the people I voted for made it into the top 10 (or 11 really), I guess I'm out of touch with popular opinion. Most (or maybe even all) of the people on my list have been around for at least five years (as far as I can remember) so that's probably why.

My list was pretty heavy with the old guard as well. I think Cardsfan was the only one of the list who hadn't been around for 2+ years.
