I don't find it surprising at all. Your best chances of making the list are probably if you have a large white working class population or if students make up a large portion of population (or both).

Not surprised Torbay made it, how come Newquay didn't? , and Plymouth for that matter.

You are right, 'druth is awful, even the staffies go round in pairs. Thing is, the are so few pubs, it is hard to get wasted.

Prince of Wales is a bit of shithole, but I struggle to believe that most towns/cities don't have a road like that somewhere within it. I'm certainly amazed to see Norwich ranked 4th anyway.

I did end up walking down there on Saturday to meet someone before getting a taxi, and it was absolutely heaving though. Never seen it that busy. I just think that list will give people the wrong impression about Norwich though, because if you stay away from PoW, Norwich is a great night out if you go to the various Tombland bars, the bars on St Benedicts Street, the bars around the St Andrews area etc.
